Since its just about impossible to get a new license for an MP I doubt it will happen. As far as upscale goes I tend to go where the girls are the best the ambiance isn't something I'd pay extra for.

Why do you ask?
Everyone is hoping present license holders don't die off or leave because the assumption is that there is no way to get a new license ... unless you know something different???

I think you can start up a MP and it is just a rumor that you cannot.

As far as I know it falls under the escort service where you pay a girl for her time and what ever two adults do with their time is up to them and totally legal.

Well...

Personally, the decor doesn't really matter to me. The surroundings are not really a consideration here, but the quality of the companionship is what I'm really after.

Maybe repost this one as a poll question for the guys... I'd be interested in seeing the final score..

Yes apparently you may be correct, if you passing zoning then you can obtain a license. If my source is correct this may soon be in the works..

my understanding is that while there is no official moratorium on licenses, a new one has not been issued in 13 years

To get one you need the approval of the residents of the area so what happens is they hold a meeting and parties that are opposed to this kind of business gather up anybody they can find with the right postal code and stack the meeting.

So you have to place the business in an industrial area... off the beaten path. Make it a nice destination, and I'm sure pooners will travel there.

Or choose an area where no one cares...

the biggest obstacle with this concept is that our illustrious city counselors have yet to pass the amendment to the bi law (bi-law, bi-ped, bi-sexual...LOL...:D - still reeling from my half glass of wine - sorry...lol) around mp's and escort agencies that would allow for them to operate outside the geographic boundaries of the downtown core...boo hiss!!!

Bunny Ranch.. high end??

 Hey Rub'n:
Have you ever done the Bunny Ranch. Do you have any idea what they charge for a "party?"

Incidently, there is a weekly program about B.R. available through Dish. It may also be available on Canadian TV, but unsure.

You have to really watch your shekels when visiting Pahrump, NV

So, getting back on topic....

How about a poll to see who's interested in an upscale parlour in Winnipeg?

I'd like to see another MP open up but don't care if it's upscale or not. I just want more variety, as well as places that stay open past 11 pm.

Broadways is a dump but I'll go there any day to see Katie!

While I find the service most girls provide in Winnipeg is > then Edmonton. The parlors are by far > then Winnipeg.

Sex is half friction and half fantasy. The room adds to it.

When I see candles, waterfalls, items of tranquility, a Jacuzzi, marble tile, a huge shower with all the accessories, a separate sound system per room, and a flat screen with some porn on it, I just don't want to leave.

However none of that matters if the service is mediocre. I do think that a classy parlor can bring girls to escort that normally wouldn't escort. I think that in itself is why service can go down. Most girls I know in Winnipeg that escort really like sex. Sometimes you don't even have to pay them for it.

Someday I would like to open up a nice parlor to reward those beautiful women.

SexyBoy makes some good points - An upscale MP would probably enhance the experience, for both the customer and the lady. A well-designed working environment should also increase morale among MP employees - this applies to most work places. That being said, you still need reliable, enthusiastic employees to begin with.

PS. I'm a Winnipeg raised guy, but only got into this hobby after moving out west. I'm coming home for the holidays and hope to give myself a little present at one of the local MP's. Any recommendations? (Under 30 yrs, spinner-type please!) I've read about Nevadas and Broadways, but I'm looking for updates. Please PM me if you prefer. Thanks!

Lookin forward to coming home!
