Just was looking at a nature doc .. on the white bears of Princes royal island.. and the typical bs .. that they perpetuate about B.C. wilderness..
Here they talk about unspoiled nature that has been that way for tens on thousand years .. undisturbed by man .. a bunch of bull shit .. because history is soon for gotten .. even though it was only 150 years ago .. that there were native villages on the island..< they even showed the totem poles..And as the camera .. pans through the forests.. you can see the fallen three .. and that most of the trees .. are not older then 100 years.. or less.. Unspoiled nature .. hell the island was logged, off... the native were wiped out by . small-pocks., the common cold .. and VD.. and most likely most of the bears had been hunted almost to extinction. . It only was about thirty years ago . that these white bears were noticed again
Lets stop Being ourselves and the rest of the world ..Yes it is nice here ... but it was allot nicer .. before the white man came ..
I live over on Vancouver island .. . Is see the forested hills ..and I have seen the old photos .. of the huge trees that they cut down.. Most of Vancouver island was heavily logged .. there were rail lines .. and spar trees all over .. take out all the could get and shipping it to the world .. sound familiar .. only that was 100 to 130 years ago. Now these three that we see are second .. or third growth. and definitely not an unspoiled wilderness.. Like wise ... the same happened on the cost island .. when they could get to them
WE have a history here on the west coast .. but it is not the long lost native legions .. or the wild live that once was here. Just tell the truth i about this place .. we will never have what once was .. true we can try to preserve what is here now, it is nature also.. but not the things of legions
