Hey, a lot of men go to SP’s to get away from the relentless bitching and chatter at home, work, etc. so why would they go see an SP who whines and bitches on-line?

I like it when they are ecstatic about a new set of heels or latex skirt and show it off on their feed.
Good for you, and I’m happy that you have this level of engagement with clients and the industry. I also use twitter / X as a tool to decide which SP’s I’m interested in seeing, and someone who does nothing but dis clients and complain is a big red flag.
Getting something off your chest now and again is completely ok, it means you’re human and have to rant now and again. But lots of complaints about clients / other girls / the industry gives me the impression that’s how a person is going to be when we’re face to face in. I don’t want to spend time with negative people in my every day life, why would I want to go to bed with someone like that and pay for the privilege?

I just got cussed out by a tall leggy redhead on Twitter. She was so infuriated she found Perb, created an account, validated her contact, found the original thread, and then gave me a good talking to. At no point did she actually read the original thread to actually give context to my post. It was fantastic. I'm guessing the mods explained things to her. They were very gracious. Both perb and twitter post has since been removed, and the thread locked.
So put that on the list of things that social media shouldn't be used for. Reflexively attacking your client base while exposing how easily manipulated social media has made us all.
Also, someone sent her that initial screenshot, so don't assume your colleagues have your best interests at heart.

Not on Twitter/X or whatever Musk is calling it now......so don't really care what anybody says on there.
There are definitely some SW’s who I’ve decided I’ll never see based on their Twitter posts. When an SW seems to have issues/drama over and over again…SOMETIMES the common thread is clear, lol!
I actually do appreciate seeing some complaints/gripes/rants for a few reasons:
- this is a real person with a real life. I find the SW profiles who are solely lingerie pics, ads, and “see how good my life is “ quite sterile and uninspiring to me.
- it’s often a topic that educates me/makes me a better client
- when you see how hard the job can be, how much they have to work, you can appreciate their successes more (which I think is a good thing).
That being said, there’s a line out there, which is hard to define, where it can become a bit much. There are some SW’s who I feel I would be walking on eggshells with, wondering if I’d become the source of a rant later (when I’m truly just trying to be a good human..and humans make mistakes).
There are also people who come across as just negative in general. I’m sure we all know someone like this in other areas of life - everything is half-empty, everything sucks, etc etc. Many of these feelings are definitely valid, but for a short period of time, I’d prefer NOT to spend my time and money with such a person.
Not every Twitter-found date has been a resoundingly awesome time (many of my favourite SW’s aren’t on Twitter at all), but I have had some great dates and I think partially because we got to know each other a bit beforehand via Twitter posts. Getting a sense of their interests, sense of humour, likes/dislikes…allexpressed over time.

Personally I gave up on being active in most social media a long time ago. Egos, toxicity, folks sharing too much, etc etc just outweighed the good and as a time suck, well its pretty big.
