Search function broken after site update?

The search doesn't seem to be working properly after the two day update to the site. Anyone noticed it?

The search function is still under maintenance and should be fixed by tonight.

Whatever was done hopefully they can figure it out. Agonizingly slow, glitchy, and often doesn't load at all, or gives error.
