I have come to the conclusion that 50-60+ ads are bogus or obviously girls being trafficked. I have now started
to say at the beginning of a request , that I will not give any deposit and will only part with my money upon actually
meeting the lady. Sunc3ctben. I hardly hear from anyone so my only conclusion is that it was a scam.
I recommend others do it well should cut down on wasting your time. Good luck

Yes so many scams out there, woman trying to ask for etransfer and the password only given after meeting, but what if she has auto deposit? Pretty much everyone has that now, such a common scam now!

The independant girls are becoming more & more scarce which is too bad cuz over the yrs i've had pretty good friendships with afew of them it sure made it feel a lil more personal & special when we spent time together where it wasn't just a buisness transaction where you hand over the $$ at the beginning & she tuns on the timer !! It's becoming far easier & safer to just go to an agency where you know what your getting & no deposit ahead of time . I bet on Nan LL right now there's probably only 2 or 3 girls that are actually legit

Anyone can advertise on LL, and being verified means nothing, just that we can hold a sign while taking a selfie… but on Tryst, all advertisers have to submit ID and a face photo, so you can rest assured all of the profiles are real. There are plenty of legitimate providers who still require a deposit, but most of them have a review or a mention here so you can cross check.

Save yourselves the time and hassle, stop using Leolist. They gouge providers on ad costs (bumps have had a 3650% increase over 7 years) and push legitimate ads off the page with their own sponsored ads that lead to other websites. It used to be decent pre FOSTA/SESTA, but it has steadily gone downhill at a rapid pace.

Nanaimo LL has a lot of girls not on island or in vancouver, check area codes for local (604- van, 250, 778, 236, 672-island) but some locals are scam too

Tryst has scams too
While it’s unfortunately true that Tryst’s name and logo does get used in email phishing scams a LOT, that is a different issue than what this thread is about, bogus ads designed to draw you into a scam.

Where Tryst is a target of scammers, Leolist actively promotes scammers who post fake ads. Anyone can post a Leolist ad and the photos they use are not vetted, so they can and do use photos of anyone. The escorts on Tryst are ID and face photo verified, which deters scammers from advertising there. All of the photos we post there have to go through an approval process first where an actual human compares them to our verified photo. That’s not to say that every provider you see there is reputable, but you can bet they’re real because they had to prove it to get an account.

So if you ever get an email from tryst asking you to click a link, or telling you that you have a message, definitely don’t open it… but if you’re looking for an escort on a website, you are much more likely to find a real person on tryst than on leolist. 💖

Yes, I agree, I wasn't intending to target tryst or any site, just pointing out that scams are everywhere, poor choice of words on my part, sry🙂. I am new to this social circle.

Scammers are everywhere , I find it funny how ladies bash Leolist and advertise there at the same time 😑
I’ve been in this world for 17 years and whether it’s Craigslist , Leolist , or Hoochiemamma.com this world is full of scammers , check reviews & online presence & you’ll be ok 😘💋

Laugh if you like, but until Tryst’s following grows to the level that Leolist has, it doesn’t matter whether providers like it or hate it, it’s still a viable place to advertise. Like it or hate it, it still brings us business, and better options are limited, so for many of us, advertising there is a necessary evil.

However, a lot of clients and providers are sick and tired of the sheer volume of scam ads on leolist and the way they gouge advertisers with bumps and trick clients with sponsored ads, so the best way to get their attention or help drive traffic elsewhere is to talk about it in public forums like this. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I agree Vivian. I believe anyone advertising that is from out of BC is probably a scammer and will ask ask a deposit before they will NEVER see you. But will have you $$$

I’d have to respectfully disagree there, Leolist serves a much broader area than just BC, and many reputable providers tour to different cities regularly. Many reputable providers also require deposits, but it’s up to the client to do their own research and decide who is reputable, before agreeing to pay one.

A phone number and some hot photos and a tagline that says “100% real” is not enough, that would most likely be your first red flag. You should be looking for a website, some kind of social media presence that shows their personality, how they interact with others, search for positive reviews and mentions here.

Being from outside BC does not indicate that one is automatically a scammer, in the same way that being from within BC doesn’t indicate that one is not a scammer. If you do all that research on a lady you want to meet and you’re still not sure, ask your fellow members here, someone will always help.
