Saraphina's Cross Canada Journal...

Saraphina

Your Fiery Angel !
I will try to update this as much as I can along the road. But my internet access is spuradic. So it may take a few days to update,

So here are my adventures;

Day 1 (Victoria)

Stunning day, the weather was a wonderful welcome. Feeling empowered and energetic. The thrill of this journey has set in. It'sn started and I am game to take on Canada. City is bustling in the afternoon, but seems so much quieter that evening than I ever remeber Victoria being. ohhhh duhhhh it's Sunday.LOL I have never stayed in Victoria on a sunday night. Hit the town a little bit. Lots of crazy, and I do mean crazy, fun was had on the town. Got injured in my later session . Very ungraceful dismount from CG on my part. Misjudged how far the side of the bed was, fell off, got a nasty scratch from the end table. But how's the saying go "if you fall off the stallion, you just got get back up and try again" LOL and again I did

Day 2 (Vancouver)

It's funny how long it took for Vancouver to get booked up. It was slow for most the local fellas to realize that the rates for my tour was cheaper than my regular rates. A couple guys figured it out about a week before my Vancouver date, the rest realized it today. My phone was ringing off the hook. It was a weird an sentimental day. Here I was on my home turf and I was feeling home sick. Sort of, in a weird kind of way. Just all the people, places and things I hold dear to my heart were right there, but I had to say goodbye again

Day 3 ( Kamloops)

I'm sorry to all you kamloopians (or whatever you call yourselves), I hate to diss your fair city, but if it weren't for the great session I had with one of you boys, I would have probably died of complete of boredom. Went for dinner and a drink, wondered around, wondered around a little more, and decided that the most excitement I will be finding tonight will be sitting back watching a dvd, thinking about the hot session I had earlier (mmmmm bedtime fantasy fuel) then falling asleep.
Day 3 (kamloops) PS
Thanks Teresa for keeping me in mind for a duo. Sorry it was so late and not
planned further in advance. I generally like to meet girls before I do duos. But
you seem nice and maybe we can figure it out on some other occasion.

Day 4 (Calgary)

Roads and weather were fastic. Mind you there were goat on the road at golden who decided to fight on the road over a female who was watching on the side. So I had to wait till the took it off the road. But found myself yelling at the goat "That roadside hussy aint worth it. Go dig up some good grub and go bribe a younger hotter goat girl for some rocking action, you'll be much happier" Was almost killed in a collision, had a tailgating semi on my ass, and was trying to slow down (very delicately) as I got closer to the vehicles ahead. Suddenly of the 2 vehicles ahead slammed on the breaks to avoid large garbage bag of stuff fallen from a truck. Vehicle ahead of me swurves right catch a glance semi behind starting to swurver right and the only way I don't get munched is to go into the lane of oncoming traffic. Thank heavens that the oncoming traffic had the forsight to realize they needed to give some space. The semi almost munched the car in front of me. We sorted ourselves out and the semi stopped tailgating. At least that I saw. Got to Calgary. Wow it's snowing. Not enough to be a huge hazard, but enough to look pretty. Had some amazing sessions. LOL invented a new position "Reverse BLS" also got to blow out someones b-day candle. Hot times!!!

Day 5 (Regina)

Well as they say every grey cloud has it's silver lining. Had a cancellation
(BTW this fella should write a thread on how to cancel in a respectful
manner. Cause he did it so well), upon trying to fill this session time ended up
communicating with an obssesive wingnut. After refusing a session, he tried to book under different names and using different e-mail addresses. He wasn't terribly clever about it. But because he would not stop trying, I opted to only have 1 session in Regina instead of 2, in case he made it past my radar. So here I was with some time on my hands. I had noticed that my skin had gotten fairly dry from the prairies, so I went to the spa. oooooooooh it was the most heavenly spa experience of my life. Had my 1 session, got to play "let's pretend we are those people in that porn". OMG.... I achieved height and distance with my squirting. I have before, but never from the get go and never the entire time. Think I clued into the factors to achieve this more often. Gotta practice more

Day 6 (Winnipeg)

The drive between Regina an Winnipeg was awesome. The temperature was pretty much -8 to -9 all the way. I was feeling pretty tough...."Ha -9 isn't so bad" as I made my pit stops along the way. Wellllllll different story in the peg, it was -9 plus a windchill factor that made it -27. Unpacking my car was an experience of visiting hell when it froze over. Got warmed up and had a session with a man, who I will describe as having an incredible natural talent. After our session, I had made plans to go visit family who lives in the Peg. I shower, get dressed and start walking to my car. I am stopped by a women, who tells me to give her my money. I tell her no. She threatens to hit me. I leave and try to reenter the side door of my hotel. Need a key card to open..... FRICK not gonna fumble through my purse for the card. Run to another door that leads to the street. I open the door an go to run. But am pulled back by my hair, and the door slams into my head (not sure if it hit me once or twice). The woman pulls my hair harder and it makes my body push on the door, pushing her back and my hair rips out and I run. I was soooo thankful for my background in competative sports, cause I clearly can still run really fast if I have the right motivation. Get into my hotel lobby without any further confrontation. Call the cops and wait. Under the circumstance, no more sessions that night. Not sure if I am gonna finish the tour. I check out of the hotel and opt to stay with family. Once again there was a silver lining in this grey cloud. Had to approach some loved people from my past very humbly and vulnerably for help, which renewed and strengthened our relationships.

Day 7 (Thunderbay)

Wake up with the song by My Chemical Romance "I am not afraid to keep on living" blasting through my head. Take a second and realize that YES I need to finish this tour. Like hell am I going to let that woman ruin this once in a lifetime experience that I have spent so much time orchestrating. I realize that I am still rattled but nothing a couple days of "self-care" won't fix. Cancel my sudbury and thunderbay sessions. Hit the road. Stop at the cemetary on the way out of winnipeg to pay my regards to some special family members who are no longer alive, but made some huge impacts on my life when they were. Then off I go, and just drive and drive and drive. About 1/2 through the day the full pain of the injuries kick in. I am wondering if I made a mistake by trying to finish this tour. I am wondering if maybe it would have been smart to go see a doctor while I was in Winnipeg. Ohhhh Well I am more than 1/2 way to thunderbay, no turning back now. The road at Upsala was a little disturbing. It appears that many moose have not been having much luck crossing the roads. Not that there are any obvious moose bodies, but the roads are stained with no less than 20 recent casualties. It was pretty ummmmm horrific. I dont see anything like this past Upsala on the way to Thunderbay. Get into town, check in, have a bath, and fall asleep for 10 hours.

Day 8 (Sudbury)

Long drive, once again beautiful weather. Spend the drive thinking about; life,
family, love, sex, work, spirituality, forgiveness, and choices. Feeling way better physically than yesterday. Drive through Amethyst Bay while staring at
the amethyst coloured sky. The names of the towns and roads make me giggle. Saw the Yellow Brick Rd (but didn't follow it) and also saw the Seldom Seen rd. . There was tons more, but those are the ones that stick out in my head. Get into Sudbury , check in and just relax.

omg....

....I was not part of any of that journey. But, so cool to make it come alive. I'm happy for the good parts and sad for the bad.

I think that's only a human reaction.

Day 9 (Ottawa)

Snowing 1/2 the drive but the snow isn't sticking. Sun tries to break through, eventually succeeds. Lots of speed traps had to be careful. Get totally lost trying to find my hotel. Find it and check in. I am finally feeling at ease since Winnipeg. End up doing some last minute crazy schedule juggling because people had to reschedule. Had an opportunity to meet a local porn producer (who I didn't think I would have the time to meet), who I might work with in the future. The boys in Ottawa are soooooooo unbelievable sweet and charming. Even the people who didn't get a session, we so welcoming when they tried booking. I loved the bed at my hotel, closest to my own bed that I have had. Beautiful sleep!!!

Day 10 (Montreal)

Another sunny beautiful day. Once again get lost going into the city. But worse. Everything and everyone is beautiful and passionate in everything they are and do here. Got to do a bit of shopping YES, finally !!!!!! Everyone is fairly patient with me and my rusty french (I mostly ran into francophones outside of my hotel). Feeling vulnerable, also a bit frustrated because between my french and almost everyone elses English, we just are not able to embrace the idioms in the languages. Mostly everything when speaking is flat and factual for simplicity. I am getting really good at saying “excuser moi, je suis perdue. Est ce que tu peux m’aider” There is a bit of an edge to people here, took me a bit to figure it out. Was very similar vibe to my school teachers ( I was in French immersion) when I was a kid. There is a very particular host/guest tango that is rich in the culture. It’s kind of a constant warm flattery back and forth. Once both parties are one the same page, it’s light and joyful. But if not on that page it’s awkward and tense. Thankfully by the end of the night I was on this page.

Day 11 (Fredricton)

I don’t know what kind of wind stream I am following, but the weather is perfect this entire trip. Hit the road later than I planned. Got lost again leaving the city. Hit the highway and got this traveling high, a nice little boost of energy excited about the road ahead LOL a hard on for life. Then all of a sudden after acknowledging this feeling, fate throws a wrench into this and brings my beaming ambition to a feeble state of impotence. …. My car decides it’s time to break down. Scooting down the highway at 110, the battery light comes on and I lose my power steering. “Ohhhhhhhhh Sh*t”, tap the breaks to see if the still have power, they do “thank god”, get over to the shoulder and drive slower to the next exit, which appears to have NO SERVICES….. Geeeezzzus…. Drive a little farther, and see a businesss “YES!!! Thank you”, pull in and smoke starts billowing out from under my hood. The people at the business help my get in touch a mechanic (there was one very close by). My French is just good enough to work out the business transaction of getting my car repaired. Takes a few hours. Could be a better day to have car failure. LOL “chanceux dans mon malchance”. The couple who own the garage, offer a place to stay, but I politely decline. I want to get back on the road. All I want to do is to hit New Brunswick. Cross the Quebec / New Brunswick border at 11pm EST or midnight Maritime time. Not tired, so drive more. Opt to get a hotel once I hit fredricton. Pleasantly surprised with the amazing level of service by the staff. Fall asleep fast. ZZzzz

Well I was going to edit the Halifax part of the journal. But my post, although seriously incomplete, pretty much sums up the breathe of my experience. So I will leave it.

Ding-a-ling (RIP Vonnegut, hope the traflemedorians are kind)

Day 13 (Edmundston NB)

Spend the fuzzy hungover morning at laundrymat. I call the airport to book myn flight over to NFL. Which I opted not to earler. Seemed like a smart decision, especially when I found out that the flights had been grounded the week before. Well due to the backlog, there was no flights over to NFL till Sunday (which would screw my schedule). DAMN DAMN DAMN…… well I had nixed PEI off the itinerary before I left on the tour, so I fugred I would go check it out, since I had this new found time. Yep they do have red roads. The island is very much a scenic little place mostly preserving it’s essence of “Anne of Green Gables”ness. Went to Charlottetown, scooted around. Decided I wasn’t keen on staying over night and went back. Confederation Bridge is a pretty awe inspiring experience. Looks like a piece of art the might be found on an vinyl sleeve cover from my parents old record collection ( most from the 60’s). Knew that pressing forward was gonna be risky. Weather reports said there was going to be snow in the northern part of Nova Scotia and the wind gusts had been pretty intense all day long. Well there wasn’t really any snow at the time I was driving (although it had earlier). Get into New Brunswick and seems good. I start getting tired, that is when the snow hits. Not white out, but the kind of snow that you cannot turn your high beams on or else it will blind you. Figure I will get my butt to Fredricton and sleep at the hotel I had checked into a couple nights before. Well as I hit the outter limits I find a stranded couple. There car has run out of gas. I help them get some gas. They are trying to get to Montreal by morning and suggest we drive some of the trip together. I figure, well I am ahead of schedule , but putting miles behind me on the road will give a newly formed idea of another itinerary change ( will post about it in the next chunk) a better chance of success. So we drive and drive, I get too tired to drive, and my mind is playing tricks on me, so the husband drives my car while his wife drives their car and I try and sleep in their car. The snow hits hard full on white out conditions. The couple drive a while through the snow and we stop in Edmundston and get a hotel. The distance is more than I expected. My fool-hearty plan has a really good chance just need to pray for good weather or a serious case of insanity to pull it off. *GRIN*.

Go lady, go!

Yay! Rabunctious and ravishing roommate is cleverly cavorting clear across Canada in her compact car!

Give me the description of your numskull hair-ripper so I can hunt her down and kick her ass, will you? Bad luck, beautiful; I'm sorry! She must have seen your hair and entered a green rage of jealousy.

You're in the Maritimes -- I'm so envious. Kiss some of those lovely fishermen with the strong hands and the quirky accents for me, will you? And maybe Anne while you're at it. (I always thought she and Miss.Stacy were a little too close.)

Keep on trucking! I can't believe your car made it through all the snow! Who knew Corvettes had such good traction?

Slap on the rump (for the forward motion) and a hug (for the warmth),

Madeleine.

Sounds like a very intresting trip.
One question though. Why would you do it in winter ( every where except B.C.) instead of late spring or summer?

Saraphina

Your Fiery Angel !
Oh shush littlejimbigher!!! No reason to put out lead balloons of logic onto my my parade. This tour is built on dreams, a sense of adventure, and a whole lotta horniness. Do you hang around playgrounds too telling little kids they stand little chance of becoming an astronaut? Now back to the adventure.

Day 14 (Manic Cinq Qb)

Well I got 9 provinces under my belt. I am remorsefully rolling the word “Newfoundland” in my mouth going over and over the logistics of the methods of getting there and the timing. It’s just not working. GRRRRR!!! When an unconscious slip of the tongue produces the words “Newfoundland Labrador” …. That’s it!!! Labrador. I look at the map. OMG a ferry that runs across a more northern part of the St.Laurent. I do some thumbnail approximating of distance and time. By golly I can do it with a little bit of time to spare. So up the 139 hwy certainly an interesting highway. Stop in Baie Comeau. These region is seriously French. Nobody correcting my sloppy efforts and switching to English. Just annoyed and impatient looks. Ok, gonna keep my head low, try not to talk to anyone unless I really have to. Turn onto the 389 hwy (almost miss at the start looks like a driveway or small road. It’s a twisty turny hiway. The sky is so beautiful this north. The stars burn so bright it’s blinding. I drive forever. The posted speed limit is 90 and peppered with signs that say 75, 65 or 55. I learn fast that it is much better to drive about 15 under the limit. The road is filled with potholes, sink holes, little creeks going across. I realize that there are few people who travel this route. The folks from Labrador (if coming home from the west), the long haul truckers who probably get paid triple to do this route, Hydro Quebec staff (the route is along the river that has HUGE dams and big fields of electrical towers), and really rugged manly men who go out hunting and sleep in the snow and bring back their trophies on the back of a skidoo. Probably saw evidence of about 20 hunting parties that were in the area at that time. Aside from that nobody else in their right mind would travel that road. Tee hee *cringe* what did I get myself into. Well driving this road is taking much longer that I ever imagined and it’s seriously dangerous especially in the dark. Just as I am getting overwhelmed and tired I see a parking lot *cough* I mean town Cougam-ma-something (it is genuinely considered a town and has a population of 5 permanent residents). Well this parking lot, I mean town has a motel. (which I am reluctant to call a motel) It’s 9 trailers parced into 4 units each. I have never slept in a trailer in my life. I guess I can say I finally earned my trailer trash brownie badge on this trip.

Saraphina, you should make this entire trip of yours into a novel or tv movie or somethin. "The grand adventures of Saraphina Bardeaux". Its got it all, battling the harsh weather, dealing with crazy women, traversing the dangerous cross canada roads, sleeping in trailers, oh yeah and all the wild and crazy sex along the way lol. Keep the reports comin, I love readin every one.

Uhhhh....

You know that the road is closed up ahead unless you are with a convoy with a gasoline tanker because it's a LONG way (1000ish KMs) between gas stations, right?

At least it used to be that way...
