Rock star INXS tonite

Hey missed this last night, so I dont know who sucked and who didn't, but sight unseen I would bet that JD will be toast. He doesn' seem to be a personality fit with those over the small hill Ausies. The black guy is gone, oh and wasn't that special when he went down the racisim road as to why he was cut. Maybe it was that stupid hair cut, or pehaps a little to much jumping around, or pehaps that when your not singing and you still have the mic that you can't shut up, or pehaps your really not that consistant. My money is on Mig and Jordas to be the final two, those two have serious talent. Any thoughts on who's out tonite?

I think it will be Jordis out tonight. The only thing that might keep her around is if they want 2 guys and 2 gals in the final 4. If INXS and Mark Burnett don't give a rip then I think Jordis is gone. She started out strong but has gotten weaker each week. Nice voice but not rock star material, and really boring to watch on stage. JD actually sounded really good last night, but it seemed like Suzie and Marty had better performances and are more likely to get the most votes. I thought Mig had a really weak performance with his original song, but based on previous weeks performances deserves to stick around awhile longer.

Jord and INXS

Yeh, I'm not sure how well she can sing INXS songs. She sings with passion, Suzzie is getting stronger and last week was having fun, Marty is good but not diverse enough, IMHO, and I wasn't all that impressed with his version of "wish u were here", I am a huge Floyd fan and his vote didn't come from me. Jordas's version of "imagine" was amazing, surprized she was in the bottom 3, but she really wasn't that good the next night, actually she could have been cut, but the again they all sucked, those songs actually sucked, so the band had green light to get rid of who they wanted. Mig has an ace in the hole being an aussie. I doubt that the new singer will be a girl but who knows!

I really think Suzie will be the new lead singer, but time will tell. I think Dave Navarro is in love with Marty, but I don't think Marty's style fits in with INXS. Maybe if Creed or Pearl Jam or some other band needed a replacement Marty might be what they're looking for, but not INXS. I didn't care for Marty's 'Wish you were here' either, but apparently we're in the minority as it's one of the most downloaded songs on MSN according to Brooke Burke.

I think it's interesting when one of the band members starts to get a little critical of the singers the audience starts booing... I wonder if what they're really saying is that they don't give a fig about INXS?

She's gone!

Wow, this show is seriously heating up. There are now 4 left. Felt bad for jordis, but as I said earlier I'm not so sure she can sing INXS songs and last night it showed again she has difficulty with them. Interesting how Dave Navarro pointed out that they will record something together. So on we go, I didn't catch the entire show but again Suzie had fun doing what she does and that will always help, being nervous will get you dead in this one. JD seemed to rock fairly good, still don't think he's the one. You could be right and Suzie might bag this one. She is hot, so maybe they like that. She is also getting a lot better each time. I don't even care at all for INXS, to me they are not the music of choice, I own 1 cd of the band and have listened to it about 3 times. But this is one serious competition that will land someone a very nice lifestyle, far above any Idol winner most likely. 2 canadians in the final four!

I think Susie has the best voice but with her doing Cher imitations, JD doing Elvis, Mig only appealing to Aussie grandmothers and small farm animals and Marty doing his annoying schtik, it will be a tough call.

Thank gawd that limited talent Jordis is gone. I have never heard anyone short of Celine Dion butcher more songs. Can't figure out how she went so far. She has a great voice for a certain type of song, but went off-key more often than William Shatner. Disappointed in Mig, he has really gone downhill the last few weeks. JD - still a prick, but has stage presence. Mahty - one note wonder so far, but might be trainable. Susie has really come on lately and all the INXS guys and Dave want to f**k her (except for the gay guy) so maybe she has a chance after all. Mig is still the one to beat because he holds the right passport.
