Dicky Betts at age 80. Co-founder with the Allman Brothers Band with Duane Allman. Dicky named his son Duane in honour of the legendary musician.

There was a story that while high on acid and walking along a country road he got hungry saw a farmers cow, lit a fire so he could cook it, killed it and was butchering it when he got busted. Wow hitchhiking for a hamburger would have been a better option, looks like he enjoyed a challenge.
