i know i'm a pretty smart blond, but i just noticed the 'reputation points' icon and was curious as to what this is exactly. i'm sure someone out there can clue me in. thanks so much.

my first thought is that its a way of knowing whether someone's posts can be trusted or not, the more points you have, the more reliable your input is. let me know if i'm wrong.

It's a pointless feature, no one really uses it, I have like 14 pont but really it's a way for someone to make a note to you regarding a post you made which is what my points tend to be from.

Every once in a while someone notices it and posts about it.

Bobo, how much money have you spent in your 5 years of being an SP customer? Can you give me an approximate number?

That's a hard question to anwser, I try not to think about it because this is just a waste of money no matter how you look at it.

Hell I could do coke and get more VFM. I mean who does 300 bucks of coke a hour and still will want to do another 300 30 minutes later?
At least with drugs you get high for a long period of time. Never mind the horrible sessions where you waste 300 in under 15 minutes and feel no real satisfaction. Can a person even do 900 in a drug in 24 hours and not over dose?

On average I spend 1-2k a month, with the most in one year being maybe 30k?

I'm sure there's tons of the older guys who spend maybe 40-50 a year.

Ok. Yeah thats a lot of money but if you can afford it I guess life is to short to not indulge in things you enjoy. I would only be able to afford about 300 a month on SP’s. I don’t go to SP’s though, I’m kinda against it after what happened the one time I did go. Any kind of over indulgence is bad in my opinion and maybe this ’pooning’’ thing is an addiction for a lot of men like drugs or gambling. Its not worth losing everything you have worked hard for.

I know it's rhetorical, but IMO he is also on the board cuz he had one bad experience & only one experience, now he thinks he knows everything.

First of all, I’m too tall to be a troll. I’m on this board because this topic is an interest of mine and if you don’t like my posts then don’t read them. I think guys are wasting their money, thats my opinion and Bobo seems to agree.

SPs are a huge waste of money, does it mean people should not see them? No.

A person should be able to realize the things they do that are good for them and the things that are bad, even if you do not stop.

Anyone who thinks that 300 a hour for sex is not a waste of money seriously needs more help than I do, and I need help.
The old "oh it's cheaper than a date" excuse is simply not true.

Would you girls buy a purse for 900 and only use it one night for 3 hours than give it to some homeless person on your way home and be left with nothing but the memory and feel that that was a good useage of money?

I think anything that is not directly neccesary for survival could be considered a waste of money. But it is the experiences we have that define and highlight our lives. While paying for a bad experience leaves one with a feeling of wasted money, a good experience is well worth it IMO.

I have paid $200 for a skydiving experience that lasted about 20 minutes. I loved every moment and went back for more. I have paid $12 for a movie that lasted about 2 hours and hated every minute of it. I don't go to movies much anymore.

I think that if you are repeatedly spending money on something that you are not enjoying, and you are walking away with a feeling of wasted money every time, then it is time to find something else to spend your money on for entertainment.

I would recommend skydiving. :D
