I was downtown for a meeting last week when I was walking down Vaughan ST. when I happened across a person who was severely burned. I couldn't tell if the person was a man or woman, it was that severe. I made eye contact and asked if she could use some change. She was missing parts of her hands due to the burns. Only after leaving a few bucks did I realize this person was a woman. If you happen by the Timmies on Portage by the Bay, wander down Vaughan and drop this poor soul a few bucks.

This mite the same lady that my daughter and I ran into at Safeway on River and Osborne. I have a condo in the area, but I only keep it as a place to sleep when I am in the city to late or when I shouldn't be driving, if you know what I mean. At any rate the lady was in front of us in the check out with her hoodie up and had one sleeve pulled over her hand. She didn't have much, but she was a little short and was about to discard a couple of items when my daughter gives my grand daughter 5.00 dollars to give to the cashier. The lady only turned sightly and nodded her head, but you could see the look in her eyes that she was grateful. It's a moment I will never forget.
I believe that this is a person that wouldn't be accepting handouts, if she wasn't burnt as bad as she is. Now that i know where she is I will have stop by.

And if you actually talk to her, she got burned like that from an abusive boyfriend and her child was killed in the fire! Makes you count your blessings for sure! :'(
With being as serious possible it's kinda weird how we (pooners) spend our money on sex... Without knocking anybody, I feel rather guilty to be completely honest. Que sera sera....
