Question

I am still relatively new and sussing things out and I was just wondering what style website you guys like better? I have updated my regular website finally but the temp one I put up until I had the time to update my full one is still there. Both websites actually have the exact same information on them (the text is copied and pasted) but they are in very different formats and leave very different impressions.

Now I'm not just talking aesthetics, many of my clients come from perb and I'd like to know if my temp website had been my REAL website instead of the one you originally saw me on, would you still have booked with me?

I thought that companionkatlyn was MUCH easier to navigate and explore with the tabs. I found having only the next button on the bottom of the katlynlacey site as my only means of navigation meant that I was forced to cycle through each page which I thought was more cumbersome.

okay, assuming there was a navigation menu on KL which is more appealing to you? The next buttons were just out of necessity to do the site up quickly...but the real difference is the graphical (KL) vs stylized (CK) and the fact that there are only 4 pages total on KL vs everything broken down into sections for a full website on CK.

Well, CK would have attracted me if I'd seen it first... oh, wait! It already did and that's why I was first compelled to see you - and that was before you updated it with more photos. For me, it was a combination of the photos and the way you wrote the text - it just called to me. I guess if I had my pick now, I'd choose KL because of the graphic design and colours, but add the tabs for navigating that you use on CK.

See the reason I am asking is because I had a lot of really positive feedback on KL. Even though it was just supposed to be a quick temp site people seemed to really like it. In my opinion it looks amateur and people tend to have short attention spans so having a lot of text on one page on websites is not usually advisable (better to split it into several shorter pages). But then again I am a web designer and so I am not looking at it from an escorting standpoint. The designer in me is bothered by it but it almost seems like you pooners prefer it. I haven't been able to quite figure out why so I thought I'd ask.

I think it's your browser. With Firefox and IE, the thumbnails are across the bottom and each one opens a larger pic.

If the navigation menu was on KL I'd still like CK better. It the has a more professional feel overall. I guess it depends on the feel that you're trying to present. It's hard to describe; but KL feels a little more artistic or feels like you're conveying a stronger attitude. The tone of CK feels softer with all the greys.

You should probably disable the function that lets us turn the on or off then...I had no idea it was not allowed to have them turned off as I have never heard of this before on any message boards. They are back on.

p.s. thought escort 411 was for guys looking for 411 on escorts but if it is for everyone looking for any type of 411 then I'm sorry I didn't realize. I posted in the ad section as I figured if I posted in lounge I would be blasted saying it was advertising.

I personally like the companionkatlyn site way better. I really dislike the next button concept for web pages... makes it too much like a wizard, and the only way back is to go up top and hit back button.
