im lookin for a copy of windows xp media edition for my laptop and seen it sold for 130.00. Im wondering if i can download it online or get it cheaper than the 130.00
i have no clue why i want the media edition. I tried reformatting my comp and it wouldnt allow the reg version of the windows xp. Plus when i leave my screen on it says windows xp media edition.

That doesn't sound right. Do a low-level format of your hard drive using something like OnTrack Disk Manager (available for free on the Samsung web site). That will kill anything. You should then be able to throw Windows XP Home on there. I don't think there is anything critical with XP MCE that requires it to be on a computer.
