Just wondering if those adult friend finder sites like ashley madison, adultfriendfinder, etc are legit and is paying their membership fees worth while. Or are most of the ads on their fake and paying those fees is a waste of time? I'm interested to here what your experiences have been like!! PM me or post. Thanks.

hey there radman...i can't speak for all the sites but i am a huge fan of aff...its fun and my husband and i have met some awesome ppl on that site...we just have the standard membership but both of us use the groups, blogs and particularly the manitoba chat room...you need to be patient as the ratio of men to women is about 11:1 - hope that helps...

I could write an entire thesis on my experiences with AFF, but for the sake of the PERB readership I will give you the precis: it depends on what you are looking for and what you can offer. If you are searching for a discreet relationship (that was my intention) or a casual encounter, you will find an overwhelming proportion of men to women, as WBW indicated. This means you need to be patient, devote a lot of time to creating an attractive and appealing profile, and devote even more time to browsing ads and replying to them. I'd argue that the financial input is secondary to all of the other "investment" that is required to obtain a satisfactory outcome.

Ashley Madison: Good site. Relatively cheap. Had some really good success on there, though the women tend to be at least 30+. When I was married (hence, the past tense)...I had better success than now that I'm single. A lot of married ladies tend to want to cheat with married men.
AFF: Haven't paid yet. Put up a profile, had some decent hits, but I think it's a bit pricey, so I'm unsure if it's worth the investment. There are some fake ads, but they're pretty obvious.
Lava Life: Again, good hits on this site too. Worth the price. There are some fake ads, but they don't seem to be from LavaLife themselves, because when I report the profiles, they give me back my credits.
SexSearch: This one seems like it's not worthwhile. All I've seen is fake ads after fake ads, though, I haven't put a lot of effort into that site.
In the end, my best experiences have come from Lava, POF, AshleyMadison and even Craigslist has provided a couple of gems for this man-whore
