Philippines this Fall

Hey y’all
I’m headed to the Philippines this November. Any recommendations? Been reading up on some areas to have “fun”. There’s doesn’t seem to be a consensus between places like Angeles, Manila or Cebu. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I was in the Philippines February to May this year. My friend was in Cebu and it was dead. Hasn’t come back from the Pandemic. There are just a couple of bars open with girls in them. It’s better for online there I’ve heard. I spent most of my time in Angeles. I’ve gone to Angeles for a few years now and try to spend 3 or 4 months a year there. I don’t have much experience in Manila. It’s more expensive than Angeles. I’ve made lots of friends in Angeles and know the city so it’s not too expensive for me. There are flights from here to Clark airport which saves going through Manila airport. The condo I rent costs about $30 a day in a gated community close to everything.

It’s difficult to give recommendations for a couple of reasons. You can go into a bar one night and have the time of your life. The next day it could be almost empty. I tend to stay in the western bars. Lollipop Masquerade Champagne are my favourites. I also Loke Q bar and Ace bar. In the afternoon there is a group of bars up Perimeter Rd. The can be fun usually have cheap beer. I don’t know how long you are going for I usually go for 3 to 6 months at a time. On my longer trips I don’t spend a lot of time in the bars. It’s easy to make friends there when they know you’re there long term.
