It was really handy up til two years ago. Now you need photo ID and no alcohol / drugs allowed. It was a nice, discreet, cheap, cash hotel for a couple decades.

IDK. I think the no drugs no booze is a good idea. I remember back when I used to go, there used to be a regular blizzard of snow every Fri and Sat. Wasn't a good scene. I haven't been there since well before covid. I understand they did some major reno's on the main floor and are applying for a liquor license. Smart move, booze can be back on scene, but only in whatever passes for a lounge there and they can control it so nobody gets out of hand.
