Our goverment is planning to introduce "nordic model" concerning prostitution: Legal to sell but illegal to buy: It criminalizes situations where money, drugs, gifts, or other forms of compensation are exchanged for sexual services.

Soon it may be illegal to go to massage parlor, meet an escort .....
Do something before it is too late...

the model is a total flop in regard to its stated goals. it has actually increased the danger to the women involved in the sex trade. the only justification is in Swedish gov't reports which basically are sayin " it is working because we say it is working". Any legitimate research gives the model the thumbs down

Need to cite some reputable academic research in this. I don't have any, but there is certainly plenty of academic evidence supporting the Nordic Model.

The study below suggests the Nordic model is a failure in Sweden:

What's the big deal? The US has total prohibition on prostitution and there must be 200,000+ escorts in California alone.

All that is affected is how much it costs, who can find it and who gets to access it.
