One trip per week. 1 person per household. That should be the law for grocery buying

The mantra of "Nothing is impossible" or "Everything is possible" always ignores the more important question, "Is it feasible?" The everything is possible (nothing is impossible) crowd, in my opinion, always seem to like to create work for the sake of creating work. Do work, don't make work - it's a good way to approach most things - another way of saying it "a solution looking for a problem isn't really a solution to anything."
Oh, it is Mr. Contrarian again. I didn't state my preference, I just illustrated what is happening in other jurisdictions which makes the UFCW's request feasible. In Spain you weren't allowed to go beyond something like a 100m from your home for a walk - I know, it seems pretty impossible to maintain - but between public shaming and strict police and military enforcement there was a high degree of compliance. In Ireland, try leaving your primary home and going to your country cottage and you risk being stopped in a road block and being heavily fined.

Brah, in another thread, in relation to a workplace fatal fall, you talk about hypothetical helicopters falling from the sky killing employees on a jobsite, is it impossible, no, highly improbable, abso-fuckin-lutley! Seems like you wrote the book on 'everything is possible/nothing is impossible!' Maybe it is time to buy a PC!

One person can't carry all the groceries for a week back home. Especially if it's the elderly with no car. Unless there's a free service that delivers right to your door once per week. Then, I don't mind.

I don't know about people. Clearly when the isles are marked one way with an arrow, still stupid people are going the wrong way....

Ms Hunter I understand your concern with loss of rights etc... but I think you need to have more faith in the society around you. 2nd thing to remember is that you have contact with most people in your private life; if you start loosing that, then you can start worrying. There is too much social media (email, phones, apps on phones etc) out there for cover-ups. Unless that's all an AI conspiracy.....

Also I think of the restrictions as a traffic detour. I'm still gong to get where I want to be, but I might have to take a different road.

As for forgetting things, if you want to limit your exposure to the virus, make a shopping list, its that simple.... And yes, I forget to put things on that shopping list... oh well....that's life....

As for the fucktard suggesting limiting 1 visit a week to a grocery store, he dosen't understand that eventually every one has to catch it. He just dosen't want it to be in a grocery store he is afiliated with... you know, bad press, and the mindless fuck has to send out a email to protect his ass....

So another fucktard sees this email, and sends out an email to protect his ass because of the first email. And it continues up the line, and so on; till someone with a clue goes... STOP. I think the rule of thumb is if you see 3 attached fucktard emails, you should be the one saying STOP......

They had also damn well make sure that the stores have enough stock . My local grocer is out of many items every day even with limiting items/person.

Not to mention selling alot of stale products that cannot be returned.

It is not remotely feasible due to volume. Thankfully, so far at least, government has been smart enough to let people eat. The moment they don't, they just don't have enough cops.

And Miss Hunter is absolutely right about the erosion of our freedoms. Some elements of government will use this as a great big power grab.
True on the volume part. I know the area I live in only has a couple of stores that due online ordering and it is hard to get a slot. Would be nice if at least more stores added it as an option to reduce some of the in store traffic.

Not too sure you understand what you are talking about, the suggestion was made by the president of the UFCW, it is a private sector Union that represents food workers, the suggestion was made with its member's safety in mind. And no, everyone does not have to contract the virus - what news source or public health official has stated that?

yeah, from another moron who doesn't have the capacity to think past yesterday

have you been in a grocery store, safety? really, in Alberta, Edmonton area

virtually none have masks, some don't have gloves

if it was about safety, that should be the first step

went into a Sobeys, after 4-5 weeks into this, they stopped selling lottery tickets

you know, something you can't touch, only they can, at least selling them, they'd have to touch the winning one's to redeem

so stop redeeming winners, have heard other retailers are not doing it

then the stupid bitch tries to tell me it's the Alberta Gaming Corp telling them, I emailed them, they told me no, it's up to the retailer, the government hasn't ordered them to stop selling lottery tickets

AFTER 4 WEEKS OF IT BEING OK, SURE

THEN THE STUPID BITCH TELLS ME TO GO DOWN THE STREET TO THE CORNER STORE, YOU KNOW, FUCK THE 7-11 GUY, MAKE MULTIPLE TRIPS, YOU KNOW, STOP THE SPREAD

JUST LIKE AT THE BANK, WENT LAST WEEK TO THE TELLER INSIDE TO USE THE ATM, THEY HAD A GUY IN THE LOBBY, SAT AND TALKED TO HIM FOR 5MINS, NEVER SAID ANYTHING TO ME

THIS WEEK, FUCKING DUMB BITCH SITTING ON A CHAIR, GETS UP, 2 DOORS, ABOUT AT MOST 6FT TO GO THRU TO GET INTO BANK, SHE COMES AT ME INTO THE DOORWAY BETWEEN THE 2 DOORS

SO IN OTHER WORDS MAYBE 2-3 FT FROM ME, ACCOSTING ME

STARTS ASKING ME THE SECURITY THEATRE QUESTIONS

SICK? BEEN AROUND SOMEONE WHO IS? BEEN OUT OF THE COUNTRY? LOL

YEAH, CAUSE PEOPLE DON'T LIE

NOT TO MENTION WHAT HAPPENED TO BEING 6FT? LOL

THAT'S THE FUCKING STUPID MENTALITY OF PEOPLE LIKE THE UNION BOSS

HOW MANY GROCERY STORE/BANK WORKERS HAVE DIED?

GOTTEN COVID?

WHERE ARE THE STATS? FACTS? YOU KNOW, FACTS? LOL

SECURITY THEATRE, THAT'S WHAT THIS WHOLE BUNCH OF BULLSHIT IS ABOUT

IRRATIONAL, EMOTIONAL BULLSHIT

SECURITY THEATRE

ALBERTA, BC, HAVE NEVER HAD MORE THAN 150 IN BC, 100 IN ALBERTA IN THE HOSPITAL WITH COVID

IN ALBERTA, THERE HASN'T BEEN MORE THAN 20 PEOPLE IN ICU

SECURITY THEATRE

JUST LOOK AT SWEDEN, THAT'S HOW ADULTS RESPOND

Some of us had ancestors who fought and risked their lives for the freedom we have. ... or, shall I say, had.
And not just our Grandparents or relatives, some of us did personally.
Asking for big brother to 'help' is like asking a fox to guard the hen house.

Sweden, nice example, too bad they have blood on their hands - three times the death rate of Germany and Denmark and six times the death rate of Finland. For what? The ability to go and physically distance at a pub, sweet!

Go back to licking QAnon's taint and leave the public health to the professionals.

That doctor is very brave to talk like that!
You mean to spread misinformation? Their unprofessional analysis has already been widely and thoroughly debunked, but they were on Fox News which validates them in the eyes of QAnon and the legions of covidiots.

When faced with bullshit little videos like this from the fringes of medicine, ask yourself, when have you seen morgues overwhelmed by the volume of the dead? Certainly not every influenza season.

The lies and fake news are the overloaded morgues and hospitals.
Maybe check some real news, not the fake left wing Trudeau crap!

Haha, you mean news that suggests people chase down hydroxychloroquine with Lysol and then hit the beach to flatten the curve! Sorry, I will continue talking to actual medical professionals and watch, read and listen to news that appreciates science and is fact based in its reporting.

In Canada, your super hero Scheer has fallen to a dismal 17% approval rating, while Trudeau's popularity has increased to 38%. Only 25% of Canadians think Scheer would do an equal or better job than Trudeau with over 50% thinking he would do a worse job (including 33% of voters who voted for the Conservative Party in the last election). The Liberals are back in clear majority territory with a 39% approval rating.

Since you quoted me in your reply, please find the post and quote it where I called Scheer my "super hero" I'll be waiting for your response...
