Old man's hobby??

Sometimes i get the feeling that pooning is very much an old man's thing so was just wondering how many of the members here are actually younger than 25?

Also some SPs say they only see "older gentleman" in their ads. I was wondering what the reasons behind that are??

No doubt, your typical pooner is going to be late 30s to early 50s, so I would call it more of a "middle-aged man's hobby." Those younger than that demographic typically do not have the disposable income and, cynically, their wives are probably will still be pretty hot. Those who are older might have trouble getting it up.

As for SPs only wanting to see older men, there may be several reasons, but one that I have heard off the record is that younger guys just want to fuck for the full hour. Older guys tend to lean toward a more rounded experience.

possibly more to lose so therefore more discreet? also possibly only 1 or 2 sog's rather than MULTIPLE shots requested? also possibly a bit more experience therefore making the encounter more pleasant for the sp too? maybe on average more disposable income? or its just a maketing ploy since its probably an old man's hobby so the guy reads it and says to himself, 'hey, that's me she's talking about...' :nod:

I thinks it is natural that the they are going to be older rather than younger for the simple reason that once you reach a certain age (late 30s and on), for most guys the probability of getting to spend time with a hot early to mid 20s girl becomes increasingly remote. And when you are around 50 or so (or older), it simply isn't going to happen for the vast majority of men. And if they want that the only way they are going to get it is by visiting SPs.

Guys in their early to mid twenties on the other hand have a sea of elligible (and free) young women to choose from, so they are mostly not going to pay for it unless they are too ugly, or too socially inept to get a girl through the usual means.

Plus, of course, older guys are more likely have money they are willing to spend that way than young guys.

as a younger guy not sure why i would have bothered paying for it.

never thought i was that special or a mover and a shaker or hot or anything but i had chances to have sex. i have had stalkers after me, i have been chased out of strip bars by lap dancers saying wait up lets go somwhere.
so why would i have paid for it. it is expensive and even a stupid fucking punk like me i had women after me

no one is that special and above it all. life takes on a different shade.
mortage is paid for, what do you need a big fucking bank account if your fucking miserable as shit.

the women don't seem to offer them self up to you as much as when you were younger, they still do,
but you realize you got one like that at home, why do you need another one.

you just want some one you can fuck then forget, you simply don't want the baggage that goes with a relationship.
you have your own baggage your wifes your in laws your families your just tired of peoples issues and baggage
you just want a simple relationship no strings attached.

I remember reading somewhere that SPs don't wish their clients to fall in love with them (and vice versa?). Younger guys apparently confuse sex with love much more easily.

I have been pooning since 18yrs of age, so going on 14yrs so far! my reasons are for variety, I love women and there are so many different kinds of women that come and go, so I think I will be pooning until the day my little guy falls off. then I will get it bronzed!! lol.

Life gets a lot more pragmatic as you get older. You realize that if you can't get your needs met the free way (not free at all anyway), paying is a great alternative.

Bending social rules and doing taboo things is easier as you get older. Plus you have more money to do it.

personally i ask for my clients to be 30 and up (with exceptions of course ) for a few reasons...I certainly don't want to run into anyone in my social circle... previous jobs, college (which i still have my last yr to attend ) OR God forbid any of my siblings friends! I also find alot of younger guys have pushier attitudes (not all) or on the other end of the spectrum have never done this before and they are scared as mice ! hehe ~ which just makes me feel bad for introducing them to the highly addictive world of pooning . As for worst case scenarios when posting my number right online I recieve such a high volume of calls from gangsters... dealers... and prospective pimps it just isn't worth to take the chance and allow myself to meet someone in any those categories. Sorry for the long winded response but so many guys ask me this question just had to add my two cents xo Ren

Actually that was a broad statement for me to make ... not all young men are pushy just the few I've encountered who have had bad attitudes were under 25. Some of my favorite clients are younger men and we have a great time ... and yes it is true they want to bleep bleep for the whole hour lol But i have to admit I am one of the girls who try to weed out my clientel by age. I allow the guys who take the time to ask why this is; and sound genuine on the phone to pass through my rule ~~ this topic could keep me here all day but I have to run have a great one boys!! ahem gents

Perhaps it is because some younger guys think that they deserve a discount, more time, or so on because they are so much more superior (for her to spend time with) than a wrinkly less fit older guy.

It isn't that an older sp thinks that older clients will be more likely to look favourably upon them, it is that a younger guy has an arrogance of entitlement. As we can see demonstrated here and there in the posts of the younger clients. And the quite different attitude and assumptions of the older ones posting are glaringly obvious.

On the reverse, as a client, do you prefer to spend time with an sp who thinks she is god's gift to men, or a kinder and more generous sp who appreciates your company for who you are and not what you look like.

I am neither UGLY nor do I HAVE TROUBLE getting it up.
Have a LOT of disposable income.
Everyone has choices in life...my choice is to pertake in this hobby.....maybe I go on for another 21 years or maybe I submit my retirement papers tomorrow......guess it's my choice.

Well Well... A thread I might be able to talk a little bit about.

As per a previous thread I started, this Old Pooner has tried to speak on a topic very similar to this.

Yes, I am in my 50's and damn proud of it. I haven't been in this hobby for long, but my "Advanced Age" has given me at least some insight into the old May/September, young/old ideas floating around.
Yes, I do prefer to spend my adventures with slightly old women, but doesn't mean I totally exclude the younger girls/ladies. I have just found, I guess, a more common bond with the more mature vixens. Maybe they just find themselves moving to the same pace as me these days, or maybe THEY enjoy the easier pace that I can muster. Not at all saying that the more mature ladies have run out of gas or anything, as nothing could be further from the truth for most of them. They have the experience and knowledge to know what some of us older pooners are looking for, but they DO have an inner fire that burns white hot when they get stoked up. (IMHO)

Frankly, I wonder if we should even bother keeping count of who's under 25 and who's over 40, or 50, etc. What we should be concentrating on is if we are all (pooners and SPs alike) still having some good old naughty fun once in awhile. If an old pooner like me wants to hook up with an 18 year old girls at the local MP, or off of the ads with an Indy, hey, as long as WE had fun, that should be all that matters. Conversely, if a mature SP/lady finds herself in the company of a young stud muffin, I hope they wake the neighbors.
I guess to put it bluntly, as long as Tab A fits into Slot B, and the lights flicker a little, and the music in our heads plays the same beat, BE HAPPY. You've accomplished something eternally satisfying.
