The the final score was 8 - 2 for my boyz in Detroit. They sure are going to look awesome skating around the ice with that cup over their heads this year.

I've always wondered about them and Chicago, hell even Dallas is further East than it is west.
It isn't technically right geographically but they have to split the league somehow. Heck, Toronto was in the west until 1998.
If iwere Detroit I would brace myself if they have to face Dallas. Ithink they can beat San Jose but Osgood has to be top-notch because the Sharks are putting a lot of Pucks on net in the playoffs regardless of the defense they're up against.
With the way things are shaping up now, I think it will be Pittsburgh against either Dallas or Dertroit. If those two meet, it's a coin flip.
Dallas is not that good. Detroit is.
Dallas was better than San Jose at even-strengh and on the power play, but they are going to be facing a much stronger and more balanced Detroit team.
Should be interesting. If the Rangers can keep frustrating Crosby and Malkin, I don't even know if the Penguins will make it to the conference final.
