Easily the chance to travel the world with 500k. Ain't no way I'd pass up that chance. 500k gets me to a bunch of places I'd never have the chance to go. I can PJ and avoid the airport hassle. The Canadian Passport is easily one of the best to have as well so might as well take advantage of it.

Choose one, one that fits your desires. I want to know who would rather just watch TV over seeing the world

1. Best Oled TV in the world

2. Have a chance to travel the world with a budget of 500k.

I would choose the TV, I hate travel I have nothing but a lot of bad luck travel from getting sick and entering hospitals to agruments over loud hotel room neighbors and all kinds of shit. My last trip probably will leave me bitter for life. Stupid Idaho, even the name is dumb.

FWIW, recenty bought a LG C4 oled, my other set is a S90C. Woled Oleds are not behind QD Oleds whatsoever, I acutally prefer the LG's picture over the QD oled Samsung, more natural. LG's oleds are brilliant.

And yes I am odd and weird.
travel. you learn a lot more by doing it and i can definitely vouch for it since it has led to overall increased productivity and meeting some goals sooner than later.

i do like watching TV, but it is a very good distraction that easily derail you from your life goals, whereas travel brings fourth inspiration and many new adventures.

in essence, i would rather travel for extended periods and go to new places i've never been than watch TV for extended periods. however, if i had to pick between watching some TV on a sunday and going to a nearby town i haven't seen before i would pick the former most likely.

Hot Springs Cove (by boat from Tofino). If you haven't been there you've missed a world-class experience.
Your mention of Hot Springs Cove prompted me to see what the internet has to say about the place these days. Alas (from my perspective anyway) it seems to have become too popular, which has brought rules like clothing requirements. I see a number of tour companies offering trips there from Tofino, so I imagine that on a nice summer day there could be a lot of people there.

The number of hot springs in BC where there are few visitors, and one can just strip down and bathe commando, is becoming fewer and fewer. I guess it's inevitable.

When I went there in 1994 it was clothing optional.

Travel! the less TV in my life, the better I feel. Just me…Of course I have never really invested in a nice TV. The best OLED tv in the world..that may be something to factor in.

Sorry about your trip to Idaho. Explains why it's the only state that never has a Miss America constentant.

Nobody ever wants to be Miss ID-A-HO:cool:

Easy choice for me. After visiting 90 countries I feel like I am just starting. And can't wait to go back to crossing USA on my motorcycle again after these unstable times will settle even just a bit. Such an incredible nature there! No problem with Idaho.

This is my choice.

OLED, much like any other LED flat-TVs only have so many hours 'of life'.... usually 50,000 hours or more.....5 years worth?

$500,000 CAD in some out of the way SEA villa, or wherever you can make that kind money stretch out in a low economy for 15-20 years?

I travel mostly because of what I see on TV, if that makes any sense. I wanted to see things with my own eyes that intrigued me; the tower in Pisa, Gibraltar, Sagrada Familia, Grand Canyon, etc. 3D is better than any TV picture, like when a macaque uses you as a ladder to climb a wall.

Just wanted to do a follow up for those who are buying a TV soon and especially if its Oled. Do not let these pro reviewers sway you thinking Woled Oleds are not as good as QD oled. I have had the C4 for close to 2 months now and after dialing in the picture I prefer it much more than my QD Oled. It has a 3d image to it in HDR and, the QD is flat and the images just in a way dies with no dept. I have gone back and forth between rooms and compared the same videos and movie and really not once did the QD oled beat the woled when I watched a high quality feed.
I am not sure if Samsung has upped the game with the S90D and S90F but never again will I buy any Oled except LG.
