anyone who has enough capital should get into those energy companies or at least start a stripmining company that may rival the big boys in 20 years when it is expected to actually produce yield. Damn, im fixin to get rich.
or at least a company that imports/exports massive tires for that machinery.
While I like the US and many Americans I'm not quite ready to become the next Puerto Rico or 51st state. If we're going anywhere its going to be indy and start to offer a TFE (tax free experience).
It will have to go WAY down....current methods have a non-capitalized production cost of ~$15/barrel and capitalized at ~$30/barrel. Even the most conservative economists don't foresee the price of crude to drop below $30 for the next 20+ years. It should also be recognized that there continue to be quantum leaps in production technology that continue to drive the costs down.
My bigger concern to the Alberta economy is another federal liberal government doing something moronic like NEP redux or out and out nationalize the industry.
