How is it shaming?
So you have to put your knife back in your truck, no big deal.

I've always taken exception to that expression "walk of shame".
I mean in terms of a successful 'date', man I am walking tall and proud!!
:)

You are still insured, just get $ instead of replacement items
Because they are no longer transferable or sellable or replaceable the insurance companies will soon find a way to deny compensation or come up with some excuse to devalue them

Insurance is there to, put you in the same or similar position prior to the item being damaged, lost, stolen...
Or does the "value" increase to you as they cannot be replaced. Similar to a piece of art or Sports Memorabilia. Once cannot replace an original Worhal, or a Ming Vase, but those are insured and values keep going up.You're premium may go up. I would call your insurance rep right away and get confirmation you are insured and will continue to be insured.
