I got the impression that they were going with the retro logo as well??
At least I saw jerseys that showed the old logo on them. It changed I guess.
To me it's the same jersey just a different color.
If they go with this that means fin the mascot will stay

I was kinda hoping they would go full on retro and bring the stick back.., maybe switch up the colors or something. Well.., at least its not the "V"

That is not the same shade of blue as the Leafs.
It's closer to the color the Canucks used for their first 8 seasons from 1970-78.

New uni's just unveiled. The new jersey has VANCOUVER over the Orca logo, different stripe design also. Not really diggin it but maybe it will grow on me. The jersey is just too 'busy', simpler would have been better IMO.
Thumbs down. They should have gone back to the original jersey. Lose the "Orca" for christsakes. And the "Vancouver" even lamer.
I've seen the new uni now and I like it. Big improvement in colors.
I don't like 'vancouver' on the front, but that's a branding issue. I'm sure they'll get rid of it once they feel it's well known in other markets.
I agree with losing the orca! Vancouver and Montreal`s crest always reminds me of a toilet seat turned on its side.
I don't think they're too bad but IMO they could have done way better by staying with the vintage jerseys; those are by far my favourite. Still, I think they're better than the last ones just by virtue of the fact that they went with the vintage colours. But, I've never liked the orca symbol and never will; I think it's dumb and that they should just ditch it. The Vancouver wordmark is pretty big and would take some getting used to.
Nevertheless, if they win the Stanley Cup, they can sport pink flying V's for all I care and I'll wear it.

canucks and habs have the classic 'C' sports logo along with the Bears, cubs, flames, etc.
even worse, most of the players look downright embarrassed
wearing those stupid uniforms ...
whoever is in charge over there these days is a bone-head: the
fans like retro, the players played their best games in retro, and
that's all that matters.
i think i will go back to listening to canucks games on the radio,
won't have to watch the team skate around in those crappy unis ...
