Never mind big dicks, let's measure car engine displacement and performance instead.

I'll start. Mine is a paltry 2.3 liter 5 cyl turbo, but gives a pretty alright 230 hp.
I'm pretty happy with it.

My other one is a 2.0 liter 4 cyl normally aspirated, about 190 hp. Lots of torque though. Much happier with that one.

I have an old 1993 Toyota 4-Runner...V6...3.2Litre engine...330,000kms...starts on the first click every time(whether it is 30degrees above or below celsius)...body is halfway rusted off...4X4 and snow tires get me anywhere I want to go...60 litre tank good for about 400kms...can go up to 150kph++ no shakes or rattles...all power stuff still works fine.

???Hp???...doesn't matter...you guys are long gone by the time I get into 3rd gear...but what is the hurry anyways??

I want a time machine so I can go buy another one brand new!!!

Hey Al...stick to the Japanese models...I am talking only about cars here...I have had Fords, Chrystlers, Chevys...nothing but trouble.

Volkswagon,BMW...better, but still trouble (and more expensive to service)

Toyota, Mazda, and Honda (not made in north america models) no problems, super reliable...especially with higher mileage.
You may not be too concerned with that as it seems you buy newer cars more frequently than I do.

Also the resale value on the Japanese made models is higher.

Sad but true...the work ethic/pride in your job is alive and well in Asia...yet how many unionized auto workers are out of a job in North America?

Enjoy your Venza...I will be looking for a new car probably next fall...let me know how you like it.

Late Spring, all Summer and early Fall: 6.5 litre V12 640hp

Also in storage, an old collectable that I drive periodically in the summer: 1580cc Flat 4 80hp


A-HA! I've seen the infamous orange coloured Charger a few times around town... beautiful yet intimidating. Congrats on that beast.

2007 F150 FX4 4X4 Love them .. all the bells and and stuff . comfortable to drive for those those 12 /14 1000km drives on the high way..

5.2 l. 310 hp... about 5/6km to a L. 130 L I can go about 800km

You dont need to spend over 20k for top steering feel and performance. I have 167hp 168tq in my 2011 Mazda3 and outside of the interior being small Love that car to death. The handling is ridiculous good for the price paid.

Yeah you know, I used to lust after that car. But after owning an E46 for a few years and climbing into an E90, I found the performance no better (possibly worse), and it was actually more cramped. The E90 is beautiful though, I have to admit - looks like a goddamned personal jet. But brand new its 100K. Used? 30K. Something is deadly wrong.

When I drove my E46, I used to feel like I was king of the road, that's how it felt to cruise in it. But later sold my E46 after the warranty ran out, it became a maintenance nightmare. Never going back to another BMW again.

I gotta ask what has a 6.5ltr V12 that generates 640hp??

And I'm just curious about tht 1580cc Flat 4/80hp. Interesting....

I used to drive nothing but Japanese, then I went to all European cars for the last 10 years. I prefer how European cars feel more solid and how they drive. But recently I stepped into a 2011 Hyundai Sonata for the hell of it, just for a test drive. OMG I was amazed with the rigidity, interior fit and finish, exterior body quality and fit and finish.... and the performance. It drove tight and tracked like a European car, and the straight line performance was out of this world. This car would beat the E46 I had hands down both on the straight line and twisty ways. It was the 2.0ltr turbo. A truly amazing car, I think it is a world class vehicle to contend with BMW and Mercedes, and of course Toyota and Honda. The Sonata is truly impressive, and Hyundai have set a new benchmark in my opinion.

Agreed, I bought mine used, paid approx. $30K but I made damn sure I purchased the extended warranty for an additional 3 years. It's not the fastest thing on the road but I love the handling (mine's an XI).
