Miss Lady Vanessa has a beautiful waterfront in-call just minutes from downtown, where I host my guests, and where we throw some fabulous parties, featuring beautiful women.
When we aren't entertaining, we like to wander down to one of the nearby restaurants for a glass of wine, or beer and a delicious meal. I'm crazy about the little seaside shop that sells Nanaimo bar ice-cream.
On a warm day, there are always beautiful women and gorgeous dogs walking along the seawall or in Maffeo Sutton Park. I like to watch the boats go by, and the sea planes landing and taking off.
Sometimes I take my kayak out on the water, and paddle around Newcastle Island, or to the Dingy Dock Pub on Protection Island for live music and a pound of clams.
For my birthday, Miss Lady Vanessa took me sailing. We had a picnic in the boat while we watched the sunset.
I've traveled all over the world, and lived on three different continents, and this is where I decided to make my home. I love this town--it's peaceful, affordable, and people are generally laid-back.
Perhaps if you find Nanaimo unpleasant, you may want to change the company you keep. My friends and I are happy to show you the best this town has to offer.
