Hey all; so I'd like to start a discussion about the current massage scene in Nanaimo. In an effort to not be that guy who asks for advice without posting anything of his own, I'll give a run down of the current scene as I see it as someone who's lived here for about a year.
Mont's Thai Massage: They're apparently closed as I drove by last week and there was a for lease sign in the window. I'll still post my experiences in case they surface somewhere else. I went about two or three times and always saw the same attendant, Ghan (pronounced like 'gone'). Asian in her late 30's/early 40's, quite thin and fit, pretty face, awful bolt-ons. Seriously, they looked and felt like rocks. Service was always ok, not fantastic. After the flip she would go immediately for the kill and I always felt like she wanted me out of there as quickly as possible. Massage itself wasn't bad though. Facilities were ok.
Island Bodyworks: Stopped by a couple of times and was never offered anyone an attendant under the age of 50. Never tried my luck. Location is right on terminal, which isn't ideal, but the entrance is at least somewhat obscured from the main road.
Noi's Thai Massage: This has been my go-to place recently, which is kind of sad as it's not that great. Location is bad - not as bad as somewhere like Cozy Spot but the intersection that it's on is fairly heavily trafficked and there's nothing else in the building so anyone driving by will know where you're going. Two regular attendants named, I think, Lily and Flower. Both asian in their 40's, both pretty average looking. Lily (I think) is chubby but consequently has nice naturals. Both ladies provide decent service at a good price and FS is definitely on the table. The reason I keep going back is not that it's fantastic but it's cheap and I can't find anything significantly better.
Cozy Spot / Euphoria Massage: Location is brutal as it's right on Terminal and you will definitely be seen going in. I've been a few times and have always seem the same attendant named (I think) Ashley. Apparently there are two ladies who work there regularly but every time I've been Ashley has been there alone. She's white, in her 30's and fairly attractive. She's super chatty and will drown you in oil so the massage is kind of lame. Release is ok but FS is definitely not an option. I certainly never have a bad time when I go there but at the same time the ladies at Noi's do a better job for a better price (but are certainly less attractive than Ashley).
That place right across the street from the courthouse - Pin's maybe?. Lol, nope. There are always Sheriff and RCMP cars across the street at the courthouse so I can't bring myself to go in.
Independents:
This is where I'd like some help.
I've heard good things about Nicole Kelly in Parksville however she always seems to be in Comox whenever I'm in Parksville. I guess now she's in Parksville all the time but it's still pretty inconvenient for me to get out there on a regular basis and I'd really prefer someone in Nanaimo.
Mistress Lalani Electrica, again I've heard good things but she only does hours at her FS rate and there's no way I'm paying that for a massage. When I called her for an appointment I almost choked when she told me the price - for FS it's fine but for a massage it's way too much. Not being critical, she can charge whatever she wants for whatever services she wants, but it's too much for me. Next time I'm looking for FS she's on the top of my list to call.
I've been having trouble finding other incall massage providers - reading perb there are oblique references to people like "the lady by the hospital" but I haven't been able to crack the code and, as far as I can tell, there aren't really any independents who provide massages beyond the two I've already mentioned.
If someone could post (or PM me) some incall suggestions I'd really appreciate it. What I'm looking for is someone preferably under 40 (or at least in their 40's) with an incall in Nanaimo who I can see on a fairly regular basis. I don't know if this person exists, but I hope she's out there!
As a bonus I'll throw in my one FS experience, which was with Midnight Angels. The have the worst incall location known to man. Seriously, I couldn't believe how bad it was. I mean, there's no shower - WTF. I saw Veronica. The pics on the website are totally accurate (except one of them depicts a shower) and if you're into spinners she certainly fits the bill. Everything was totally safe and I had a great time. I would recommend going in the evening so the storefront that the incall is behind isn't open. Would definitely repeat however FS really isn't my thing, I'm much more into massages and will only hit up an FS provider like once or twice a year.
