Well as some of you may already know, I bought a new monitor the other day.
It is a Samsung 940 MW. A 19" flat screen, with speakers.

Sound quality i give a 7/10
pic quality a 9/10
user friendliness only gets a 5/10 though....largely because the flipping thing comes with no instructions at all.
Seeing as how i was just swamping out my previous monitor, it was not as bad for me as it could be.
But if it was a new system it would be extra frustrating to some as the instructions are all on a Cd that comes with it.

When you load the CD onto your puter it says "If you can see this the install is good" well how the fuck would i know t was bad if i could not read the screen.....get out my crystal ball or some fucking thing.

Anyways i like the monitor, but samsung pull your head out of your ass and write a page or 2 on setup you idiots.

Onto the other new toy now......a DVD burner / TV recorder.

It is an LG 780.....this thing rocks.
Has a built in hard drive to record shows on, and a simple to use program to record.
Or if you like insert a recordeable dvd and record straight ot it as well.
Or in my case so far, if it is worth it once the show is watched and you want a copy to keep you van record onto a dvd from the built in hard drive.

It kicks ass to just hit delete to once ashow has been watched and POOF its gone... :D

I recorded 4 hours of TV so far onto its hard drive and it shows i have used up 5.8 % of the memory.

The LG gets 9/10 on all accounts.....i do not give 10's as what happens if someday i find something better.

The weekend review is brought to you by GF and sponsored in part by sales as found at Visions Electronics. :D

As quoted on page 4 of the manual " this product is compatible with the new high definition television that is available by many providers and sattelite companies"

So ummmmmmmmm, I am not really sure.....it does not actually state if it records in HD...just that it is comptible.
I would maybe ask a store clerk or contact LG, or something.
Sorry I was no real help to you
