Having shaved and waxed my junk for years, even doing a 4-hour marathon electrolysis "down there", I decided to finally do the laser.
More specifically, a Syneron IPL+RF machine applied by a female technician at a local beauty spa.
The objective: get rid of all hairs surrounding penis, on scrotum, on perinium and up the back side surrounding anus. I don't have any hair on butt cheeks, so nothing to get rid of there.
First session was on Feb 13.
Technician shaved me all over, then applied the laser gel. She then flashed the handheld on my front areas and back, the entire process took about an hour including the shaving and all the talking. Flash time itself was probably about 30 minutes.
It felt like someone snapping rubber bands against my skin - not really painful, but it did make me jump a number of times. What I thought would be the most painful areas were not, and some other areas were surprisingly more painful. Balls didn't hurt. Base of penis hurt a bit - particularly where up the shaft a bit. Where leg connects to crotch hurt like a bugger. Asshole barely hurt.
The next few days, only a few red bumps appeared. Regrowth seems normal so far, but it's only been 4 days since the treatment. It is advertised that regrowth is lighter in the first treatment after 2 weeks. It's probably bullshit, but we'll see.
Everyone says it takes 6 to 10 treatments to get it all off permanently with any kind of laser. My next treatment is in 7 weeks.
