i have to do a slide show to music, for a grade 5 "moving on" to middle school ceremony. Any suggestions on appropriate music that suits the theme? There can't be a dry eye in the house.

Trust the Italians for GREAT drama! The love theme from the 1988 movie "Cinema Paradiso," is perfect and GUARANTEED to make them cry. Over-sentimental but that's what you want. There's even a weeping violin at the end.:D
