Another thread discusses restrictions and safe sex in our MPs versus FKK clubs in Germany. I have some background on this, would like to share it in a more general context.
In the way of intro - societies in Germany (and Holland, Czech, etc) realize that Sex Providers (SPs) truly benefit the community. We all know that, right
. The difference is that in those countries, sex-related professions are treated – politically and socially – as fully equal to other service professionals (e.g. car mechanics), and so enjoy full benefits - medi-care, vacation, pensions, tax deductions, etc. SP’s social status is on par with their contributions – such as attracting business to communities, and making the society sexually-satisfied, which leads to a low rate of sex-related crime. Of course, prostitution and all sex-related business activities are legal and open – which benefits both the SP’s and the clients, because enjoyable services are provided safely and economically. I guess we still have work to do to achieve that in our society, too, but that’s another topic.
In Germany, FKK and PartyTreff are the most popular clubs that offer sex-for-fee. In FKK, you pay an entry fee, then an additional fee for every sex act, which takes place in a private room. In PartyTreff, you pay an all-inclusive entry fee, then you are free to have sex as many times as you want with any and all of the SP’s in-house (usually 3 to 6), and/or with other guests. However, there are no private rooms in PartyTreff clubs, and all guests can watch one another at all times. I personally like PartyTreff a lot more, because you can enjoy a six-hour all-inclusive party for appr. CAD 250-300.
Now, some comments on restrictions and safe sex practices. In FKK and PartyTreff, SPs and guests usually engage in oral sex without protection, and vaginal/anal intercourse always with protection. Their risk assessment is based on the relatively low incidence of STD’s in Germany. Also, the risk of getting the really bad one - HIV - through oral sex is low (unless there are cuts or sores, etc). The risks of other STDs (e.g. gonorrhea, chlamydia) are certainly much higher, but these are not deadly – treatable with antibiotics – and so considered as “work hazards” (they are probably getting a tax break on this, no kidding). Anyway, most of us know this stuff - if not better learn. I personally prefer to give up some pleasures and not worry about my test results a few weeks/months later; but, as Tiffany here wisely observed - each of us has to decide how much risk he or she takes. …
