Hey everyone! Im off to Thailand for a week on Wednesday. Ill be in Pattaya for 4 nights and Bangkok for 3 nights....just a quick 1st time trip over there with a buddy....I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on some good MP's over there.....definatly not looking for FS in Thailand...just a nice massage and solid tug......Id like to know what kinda cash it will cost...I just dont wanna get ripped off.....any advice would be outstanding!!!

My, oh my, are you ever in for a treat. You will definitely have the time of your life over there in Thailand. I've never been to Pattaya, but I can tell you about Bangkok.

There are these tuk-tuk drivers that carry up to 2 passengers and they are always saying 'massage' as they drive by tourists. You must go with one of these guys and get the grand tour. He will take you along a road with 3 or 4 MP's pretty much side by side. He will take you inside and introduce you to the mamasan or papasan. There are different ladies available all with numbers on their clothes... remember the Rush Hour movie with all the chicks waiting????? *drool* They cost anywhere between 1500 to 2500 baht. 50 to 90 CAD???? There are plenty go-go bars in Pattaya out in the open.

Find a girl you like, negotiate a price and time length, pay the bar fee (usually 100-200b) and off you go. Decide upon arival what service you are interested in.

Make sure you are staying in a place which allows, "guests." Most in Pattaya probably do, but elsewhere in Thailand it is hit and miss and not always posted.

Super Tip: Bring an ample supply of condoms. I have read that condoms made in Thailand have a failure rate of 100x more than those manufactured in N. America. This probably goes for any and all developing countries, so better safe than sorry...

The land of smiles can be an exciting experience but also can be frustrating for the uninformed and unprepared especially if you don't speak the language.

I have had some wonderful experiences there and no doubt you will too.

I had one of my best experiences recently on a one night layover (no pun intended).

Since I was going to be on my own and only going to be in BKK for one night I didn't feel like running around the town so I made an advance arrangement online with one of the BKK escort agencies for some company. No advance payment required, paid cash at the end of the session. I was met at the airport by the two babes that I had picked from their on line line up (accurate and honest descriptions), driven to the hotel in an AC car. I was referring to the Thai brands of condoms. If the condom is sold in North America it has obviously passed the appropriate standards and should be considered safe (anyone have a consumer reports on the different brands?).

The only time I tried a Thai brand it broke and let me tell you I was a nervous wreck for the 3 remaining months after I got home (6 months total) until I could rest assured of my own safety from the test results.

Any increased risk (even 0.00001 chance greater) is not worth your life...

Never had an Asian condom failure in Asia and I have used plenty in SE Asia and China.

It's possible, due to size differences that some visiting pooners are to big for the local brands, hence the breakage. In any case, bring your own, don't worry, just get happy.

I am just relating some information I read (I believe in the back of Lonely Plante's Thailand book but I don't have it any more to check). If you are happy with the saftey of those brands, then all the better. I tried one of the Thai ones one time and will never do so again.
