I was listening to the radio on the drive home this evening, and the woman reading the weather report said, most unenthusiastically, "The forecast for the week is unchanged: more stinky sunshine and heat."

Stinky sunshine? I can't help but think back to several weeks in Dec-Feb where I would have given anything for it to be 30 degrees and sunny for days on end. I love this weather! And judging by all the smiles I see on peoples' faces these days, I'm not the only one.

Bring on the sunshine! :)

Maybe she forgot to use deodorant and got a whiff of her sweaty underarms??

That is the only plausable explanation, lol

My only complaint is I don't want to work, so my finances are taking a beating.

First rainy day, I promise I'm gonna stay in all day and work, :D

Til then there's parties, bbq's, beaches to play at, night clubs to dance at, and vodka to drink, oh my, hahahaa

Someone should tell her to spend a winter in Fort MacMurray, and then try to complain about the sunshine and heat

Yep...
When it's raining during the winter... "where's the snow?"
Snowing during winter, "why can't it be raining?"
Sunny during spring/summer, "we need to rain to water the plants!"
Raining during spring/summer, "I wish it wasn't raining everyday in Vancouver..."

Yup, when it comes to the weather in Vancouver, that's pretty much the standard attitude. For me personally, here's how I feel about those scenarios:
When it's raining during the winter... "where's the snow?" (yup, the same as the majority of Vancouverites)
Snowing during winter, "freaking awesome, I love the snow!"
Sunny during spring/summer, "freaking awesome, I love it when it's sunny!"
Raining during spring/summer, "meh, I guess this is a necessary evil"
