Montreal Canadians - 2006-07 NHL Season

Wilde, how far do you predict your Montreal Canadians will go the 2006-07 NHL season?

If Huet proves that last season was no fluke, and Saku Koivu's damaged eye doesn't bother him too much. Then they will probably finish 7th or 8th (ie/ just sneaking into the playoffs again). I think that out of the entire NHL, they made the least among of change. They lost 4 players, gained two and have a couple of spots open for the rookies. That means Bob Gainey is satisfied with what he has and that's good enough for me.

And only because the Bruins will suck even worse this year !

Actually Wilde it wouldn't surprise me if the Habsbins finished 6th this
year and the Bruins won't even make the playoffs once again.

i the east you can pretty much say that ottawa,philly,buffalo,new jersey and carolina are pretty much locks to battle it out for the top 5 spots. i think if Tampa gets or has a good goalie they will will be in that group. then that leaves montreal,toronto,rangers,florida battling it out for the final two playoff spots. leaving boston,washington,pittsburg,and NYI battling it out to not to be in last place

Didn't really think about it yet, but it looks like the EAST will be one tight conference this upcoming season. But seriously, does anyone else think the B's will make the playoffs this year?

The east will be a tight race to the finish. I believe Montreal will make the playoffs and surprise alot of people with upsets in the post season.
