Those are from 2013. Men are FAR more enlightened, well-informed, and consistently practice safe sex since then! :whoo:

Thanks for these tho: I now know how to write "nomsayin" , which I plan to add to every post, nomsayin??

But when all this explodes into a public health crisis it gives the feds ALL the ammo they need to crack down on this lifestyle. If you think the whole "human trafficking" thing influences Gov, imagine what a public health crisis does.
And yet it'll still be a bullshit excuse because professionals care a lot more about staying safe than the drunk hookups at the club would. The logical thing would be to legalize and require health and safety standards and certification like dentists or restaurants or any other profession where biological transmission is a part of it.

Only time I don't use a condom, is once I get a HJ or a body slide. Had my sperm tested years and years ago, and I have plenty of it. So much, I freaked out on of Fern's girls. :behindsofa:

I used to believe this. I no longer do. A prominent escort activist had a poll on Twitter and something like 1 in 5 SP's were willing to offer BBFS depending on the circumstance. My guess is the number is likely higher because some people are naturally reticent to admit to it. And that poll doesn't take into account women working the street or those who are addicts. If an addict won't take care of their own health why would they care about yours?

As for the fabled "drunk bar star", nothing is stopping YOU from covering up. Same with an escort.
Wasn't saying anything about me. :) Anyway, sad as that might be I'd still expect better odds of health consciousness with a professional (true professional, not just someone in the profession) than two random drunks at a club. Again, full legalizing would allow the opportunity to certify and monitor health and safety, which IMHO would improve the industry situation on average vs. abolitionists driving it completely underground, feeding on the desperate, which was all I was trying to say.

When HIV was thought to be a life sentence, it wasn't the sex industry that was the primary vector of the disease then, and it won't be now. So I maintain the politicians would be misguided to suggest so. But then that they'd do it anyway is nothing new too.

That 1 in 5 percentage is prolly accurate.
When I got to be a regular of certain SPs, the condom conversation would eventually arise.

I was chatting with a nurse at the Sti clinic today about the increase in risky activities and disease transmission. Although riskier activities are becoming the norm in this industry ,she mentioned to me they're noticing an explosion of infections from unprotected sex with high number of partners in the civilian online dating world. What's even worse, a high number of those civvies aren't just not using condoms, but NO form of birth control whatsoever.
The masses are uneducated....... I'm not surprised. Sadly
