The beginning of this video is the video feed from Dan's car. Later you see the crash develop right in front of him and then his car goes air-borne and ....... A horrific crash

Dan Wheldon dies of his injuries. Great driver, so sad.

It surprises me that doesn't happen more often on those ovals - they are basically drag strips with no where to go when things go wrong.
