Personally, I do not smoke anything, weed included.
However, I am against its criminalization. I believe it's safer than tobacco and more harmless than alcohol. But anybody who is stoned shouldn't be driving a car.
People should be free to grow it and smoke it. And people who sell it should have to pay income tax on those sales.

I'm a recouvering drug addict Inever did like weed, hated cigeretes, have smoke weed didn't like it 5 yrs plus clean still dream of dropping a huge rock in pipe and toking a way but its a dream don't get high

After not touching the stuff for several years now since I used to do some with a x-GF, and since she's gone the urge to be a pot head with it. I now find the stuff stinks. And prefer not to walk around wearing ode de smoked joint on me clothes.

Here's my $0.02
Growing up I smoked weed only a hand full of time and didn't like the feeling of being stoned. Drank what I would consider to be an average amount for a teen....the odd party, etc. but never to the point of excess. Smoked cigarettes off and on from 16 to 25 with the greatest consumption being ~ 1/2 pack a day while working in the oil patch. When I didn't smoke cigarettes I never felt either a physiological or psychological need for them so wouldn't consider myself addicted.
As an adult I've always been a social drinker enjoying the occasional beer, wine or highball. On the weed side of things I picked up smoking ~5 years ago with the height of my using was smoking a bowl once a week or so. Funny thing is that in the past two years I've hardly smoked at all and have never felt any cravings to do so. I also take great exception to the notion of pot being a gateway drug. Even while smoking regularly I NEVER had the desire to try smack, crank, coke, crack, etc. Didn't enter my mind, the people I bought my weed from didn't try to sell it to me, people I smoked with didn't use other drugs let along try to get me to try. IMO using the logic that weed is a gateway drug is a bullshit excuse on behalf of the government, public health orgs and the courts.

I have never tried it and I never will . Marijuana only leads to harder drugs and then it becomes a problem with the rest of society . People using and selling should receive harsh criminal charges

I only smoke occasionally and only when I'm drunk otherwise I find the paranoia I feel when high to be very unpleasant.
Have done most of the popular recreational drugs out there except opiates and never intravenously. That's the one thing I would not touch. Wait, that's a lie. I got some H instead of coke once when my dealer pulled from the wrong pouch. Ended up puking the whole night. For me, it's a self-control issue. Knowing when to stop is the key to being a responsible drug user (yes, there is such a thing). I have given up on all of them except the occasional toke here and there.

I have a couple hoots almost every evening after dinner in lieu of a glass of wine. Helps me relax. It also helps me concentrate on the task at hand, whether its a good game on the tube, a good convo, or some great nasty. Nothing like doin' the nasty with some bud. (That just sounds wrong!). Wine just makes me wanna crash. But I hear it's better for you. Bleh.

Being 'medicated' helps me be more patient with my step son.....you don't want to be upset when a 5 yr old behaves his age. I find it also allows a different perspective for problem solving....but my short term memory is shot to hell, I have to make notes to my self, especially when I ingest my baking.
It also can enhance the massage, bj, etc process....but I can't remember all the pertinent details to post any reviews...

Used to but not for twenty five years at least. I found it made me very lazy, but it does affect everyone differently. I know a lady who smokes up and then cleans her house like crazy, her house is immaculate.
And the stuff about "gateway" drugs is just pathetically stupid. It does not stand up to reasoned debate.

I was a lost soul for a few years but with lots of help i managed to get clean 7 years ago and life is good.
I dont smoke weed or drink anymore because for me it had to be all or none but i believe for some people (not me) the occasional joint is ok as is alchohol in moderation.
I dont believe that weed is a gateway drug unless you have an addictive personalty to begin with,unfortunately sometimes its too late before you figure out that you could have an addiction issue.
