Reading this thread again just makes me laugh. Meiko makes one relatively harmless comment and then everyone attacks her (including me). i never attacked her, i was never mad at her or what she said. as far as her calling someone "stupid" on a public forum where that individual can view it, i think that isn't too good.

yes i've said some things about people at times but it wasn't gossipy which meikos was not either but i may have made a comment about someones intelligence or something to that respect but it wasn't out in public for everyone and potentially that person to see and read.

meiko is more then intitled to her opinion, however her opinion is based on her perspective. so all i'm saying is that before calling someone stupid try to look outside the box and see things from their perspective(i have a funny story about this by the way). her opinion is based from her perspective in how she looks, what kind of life she's led ect, ect. well not everyone has had the same background and experiences as her. i think the reason why it got such a passionate response is because calling the sp that provides those services as "stupid" trickles down to the individuals that pay for them.

I don't think Meiko left over this issue, she doesn't seem like the type of person who would back down from an argument. She posted a farewell message in the lounge but it was only there briefly before all of her posts were deleted. Basically she said that she has made a lot of good friends here (and a few enemies) but it was time for her to move on in her life. Whatever she is doing now I'm sure she will still check in here occasionally, even if only as an observer.
