Location, location, location...

I will ask this, as it can, has & may apply to everyone here at one time or another.
The location of an SP has been discussed here, with some people not liking/wanting to go to an airport area hotel for whatever reason. Others have no problem with an airport hotel.
Ditto for a downtown location, given the parking congestion which happens.
Suburbia is really not a problem for parking, it just may be the commute from one's starting point.
My question is...would one go to the north end, specifically at night or in the evening, given the north end's reputation for violent flare ups? Yes, the north end has a lot of good people in it, and, depending on where in the north end & what time you go, I.am sure there are safer areas than others.
But, over the last year or so, and even going back further than that, there have been a high number or high profile WPS incidents with the gang activity, and violent crime that can & does occur.
Why I bring this up is a certain SP has recently informed me that she is now smack dab in the proverbial middle of the north end. I have seen this SP once, a couple of years ago, and I recently texted her again when I saw her ad & number.
She has moved around a lot, which I will admit is a red flag. She has kept the same phone number, which is ok.
She was not associated with any pimp or handler when I saw her last & her ads have never strayed far from the usual wordings.
It has been a back burner idea to see her again, but, I am leery of the bad north end legacy.
She will only do incalls starting after 6 PM for whatever reason, and she apparently has no roommates.
Is this TGTBT, or should I TOFTT and put my own questions & qualms to rest?

I'm not a fan of the North end even though I am close to it. I would not see a girl there if I didn't know her or if there were not enough reviews

Out of respect for her, I won't provide a name at this time. She has been an SP for a few years, but surprisingly, no reviews anywhere.
If I would have known about PERB or any other board when I saw her, I would have written a positive review about her then.
If I do go through with seeing her again, it will probably be my next review, though I am hankering to see Orange & her Captain Morgan stance, if I can.

That is what I am thinking as well, BUT...if I can get an incall for somewhere between 6 & 7 PM or so, I am hemming & hawing that it should be reasonably ok. Neighbors should/might be getting home from work, or maybe out in their yards doing yardwork, or walking the dog (I am trying to think positively here), so there shouldn't be TOO much of a concern.
She did give me the street corner names of where she lives (not on the street itself, but in a duplex, address unknown at this time.) Would a drive by recon mission be wrong to do? Just to see the area first, get a feel for it?

I wish an incall would be available for noon-ish. But, unless things change, apparently the only incall time is after 6 PM.
I will recon tomorrow & make a decision then.

My regular girl has moved around a bit. Last time I saw her was a place right in the heart of a sketchy part of town but, I trust her and, the place had a parking spot right by the backdoor.

Your completely right, TRUST. I personally wouldn't put myself at risk or any other person. That's exactly what I tell a date if he's unsure about my location.

Add to this most SPs in the city seem to avoid the south end of the city which is a inconvenience for me. I think there is more business down here than most gals think.

And, I went to the area this morning. Saw at least 2 different gang colors worn by 2 groups of individuals, saw a lot of normal, everyday people doing normal, everyday things.
No matter what the politicians & police spin positively in a media briefing, there is the possibility of anyone becoming a "random act of violence".
Magnus & MacGregor is the area in question. If I make it in & out safe, will my car make it out unscathed when I am inside?

Why would you chance it at all? Go see someone else

1. There aren't many good hotels in the NE.
2. Athough the NE is sketchier than other areas, what kills my boner faster than getting it run over by Octimus Prime is anything involving pimps or gangs.
3. Even if a gal was in a 'nice' hotel in a reputable area, but was managed by pimps/gangs/crazy boyfriends, it would be a boner killer cause that's just a bad situation for everyone.
4. And yes, it makes logical sense that your level of trust with the gal is key. That's the biggest indicator of the level of BS/danger/wasted time you will likely find yourself in at the end of the day.
5. Of course, these boards help to weed out people who are BSers.

It is not a hotel in the north end, it is a side by side duplex.
I have no idea who, if anyone, is in the other half of the duplex, but do I want to take that chance? Not really.
When I saw her the one & only time, it was in a south end condo off Waverley. The area is nice, the condo was nice, everything was good.
I have zero clue as to why she moves around a lot & doesnt seem to be staying in one place.
I will (im)patiently await her next move, if one is coming & hope it is in a better area.

I have two vehicles. A newer one as my daily driver and an older, expendable one I keep to go pooning in. I realize not everyone can maintain such an arrangement, but I find the extra expense of keeping the older ride is worth it.

I must admit that I find the risks inherent in this hobby often greatly enhance the overall experience. Yes, that may be counterintuitive, but risks can be mitigated by being acutely aware of your surroundings and knowing your limitations on exactly how to deal with potentially unpleasant situations.

I'm only a day time player but no matter the area of the city I always ensure I have enough time to do a drive by and scope out the neighborhood. Part of my screening is a general question of which part of city one an in call is located.

On another note, don't paint the entire north end with the unsafe brush. There are many pockets of safe well maintained homes and apt buildings. And no I don't live in the north end.
