They do it because they get paid cash on the level of doctors and lawyers, as citizen pointed out, the good, smart ones make more than most of us do. I'm more than happy to pitch in what I can but I don't for one second have any delusions that I'm not using them as a sex object just as much as they're using me as a financial object. Means to ends. Everyone gets what they want.
