Treveller, have you ever been shot at?

If someone was shooting at you would you chase them or run away?

All this second guessing from behind a keyboard!

Always too much dissection of actual events via a computer monitor.

That was a Wild West Car chase and not once did I notice the LEO not have full control of the car.

I for one a applaud these cops for what they do everyday...that was the best possible outcome for the douchebag behind the wheel. There is always some sort of risk involved in stopping criminals, be it for the officers or the general public. I saw no panic, just adrenaline, and in the end one less criminal on the streets!

With all the bad news posted about Cops, this one showed they still do the right thing in stressful situations.

Shot at? No. Have you ever driven an emergency vehicle?

Chase or run away? Can't say, never been shot at. Sure as hell hope I wouldn't be so stupid or panicked that I drove up closer so the guy can get a better shot at me.
