No doubt. Gotta admit Mike Myers looked like a deer in the headlights. I was half expecting him to go "yeah baby!" just to lighten up the situation.
Are you referring to West or Bush? Didn't Kayne also charge racism when he lost best new artist to country singer Gretchen Wilson? I'd respecfully say it was systemic incompetence rather than race hatred that was the root cause of the delay in getting help to the people of New Orleans.Oldfart said:

I think it was good on Kanye to speak out like that but i really don't think the was the right forum to do it.

Me too, except I would go further and suggest that it's questionable that any disaster plan and emergency relief system could have handled this catastrophic event adequately.lenharper said:
There will be plenty of time to ask could the system have done better and who fucked up? For now people should focus on the immediate issue of helping those who need it. I don't think saying the President doesn't care about black people helps and I really doubt it is true. I don't agree with everything Bush does but I do not think he is the complete monster some imply he is either.
