Anybody know where they can be bought downtown? I mean the ultra-thin polyurethane rather than the latex ones.

I believe I have seen them at Rubber Rainbow on Denman Street. But beware, that store is mucho expensive ($20/dozen). If you're not in a hurry, order from www.condom.com. Their prices are really reasonable and shipping is only $4.00 to Canada. They ship out of Seattle, so it takes less than a week to receive an order.

I have purchased them from Womyn's Ware on Commercial Drive in the past.

the Durex Avanti can be brought anywhere, i.e. lodon drugs. A lot of SPs won't let you use it as they are not educated enough about it. They think it would not stop STD.

For other condoms, the Art of Loving near Burrard and 5th? seems to have a good selection.

at the rubber rainbow buy the lambskin ones $80/ten of them. They are pricey but worth it. It's like using nothing at all.
But lambskin doesn't protect against STD's does it?

Lambskin feels nice, but they don't protect from STDs very well as the material is porous.

Once a long time ago, around late 80's, there were reports of guys who contracted HIV and they used lambskin condoms.
