Hi all...

I am new posting here. After a few years in the hobby, this is what struck me as odd:
I know in the hobby, Providers don't give out their real name. However, are there real cases where the providers do give out their real names to their clients?

What does that mean? Does that imply some level of trust? or some level in the relationship?

I wondered because a couple of providers did gave me their real names. I don't know if they only give it to their best clients or what?

Thanks for the feedback.

First name or last?

I tell some of my clients my first name, if they ask and if I trust them.

Yes it does happen in some cases.

It might be just a comfort level that the lady has about you.

I know many ladies buy their "real names", but I also have very good relationships with Ladies only by their "working" names, It is all a matter of trust, and if you have that information it shoud never be passed on!

As history has shown, even the most trusting SP/client relationship can go down the crapper for the strangest reasons. Sorry if I sound cynical

Cynical? no. Practical and realistic? hell yes!

I do give out my real first name. I don't want to get caught walking down the street with my family or friends and run into a client with them saying, "Hi Delilhah" and my friends/family asking "Why did that guy just call you Delilhah." Too hard to explain.

Lucy Massagegirl has already copyrighted The Voice of Reason (even better, she really is the voice of reason.).
Think of a new one, please.

I think it's fairly common. It's happened to me with about 10 different SPs over the years. At first I thought it was special, and tried to make more out of the SP relationship.... but it turned out that she just trusted me and wanted to be called by her real name. I believe what they risk is the man becoming a stalker. Usually these girls do not have assets of much value, any credit to speak of, or anything like that so the risk of fraud against them is virtually nil. If you seem pretty level headed and are not strange or the stalker type, an SP may just give you her real name. Again, it's a level of trust but in my experience it does not usually mean a change in the SP relationship.

Most women I see are for FBSM/FBST/R&T -- I don't know if that makes a difference.

In only one case do I know a practitioner's full real name.
In two others, I know their real first names, but still call them by their business name.
In a couple of other cases, they may be using their real first name, but I'm not sure.
My sample size is about 20-25.

Question for the group:
What proportion of practitioners do you think use their real first names?
