Hey, I was just passing by and noticed a question about the status of TBD_Van, which I answered in perfectly amicable terms. As could be predicted, my goodwill was met by insults and revisionist lies.

In the past year, I think I have might have posted PERB on two occasions - when your House Doctor got too far over the top to ignore in good conscience and community concern. The rest of the BS, I've chosen to ignore - maybe I don't feel like ignoring it anymore.

The 'treehouse' thing is between HD and me. I owe him bigtime payback for a very nasty cheapshot he took at me. If you think your treehouse will stand any collateral damage, good.

I started out so civilized in my first post today that I invited you guys over for TBD tea. Apparently, that was too provocative for some.

I really don't have much interest in your Board - not that its not interesting - but I have plenty on my plate elsewhere. I just wish that the grumblers would layoff with the BS and insults. I did lots of interesting and valuable work on TBD_Van and its disappointing not to get any credit for it. I don't much like getting blamed for stuff I didn't do either. Forgive and mostly forget.

What some members have failed to read is that Delecto was provoked by being called a nutcase. Among other things. So he reacted as can be expected if you are familiar with his posts on the Big Doggie. So why even go there with the provocation?

I have enjoyed his posts on BD when he wasn't defending himself or lashing out at others for on reason or another.

I have seen to many threads tainted because old time posters are feuding about something of no real relevance. Or at least thats not relative to this board. Most of these feuds go back years, and all started on other boards. This is 2003.

I think Delecto has alot to contribute. I say give him space and lets not slam the door on him just yet. If you get on his ass he will be all over you like a fat kid on a smartie.

There are other members here who will do the same.

He has no greater rights or privileges on this board than any of us. If he, or any of us gets out of line i'm confident the MODS will deal with it in quick fashion. --- Kev

that is why he is not welcome at PERB. TBD is in DIRECT competition - You are not even allowed to say PERB there. ( you have to refer to it as "the other board."

Canadian_Hero promotes ****.net. He has been banned also.

I think PERB management feels keeping Delecto over at TBD is the one of the best ways to attract advertisers over here. TBD_van has NO ADVERTISERS. Why do you think that is?

Normally I might agree that the moderator came down hard a little quickly, but in this case I think he has some justification. It isn't exactly an auspicious beginning to come on to a board and start threatening to destroy it and go after a particular member as delecto did in his posts. As moderator you have to make the decision, do you wait until the member tries to make good on their threats on do you cut them off before they get the chance.

I've had an account on the Big Doggie for a couple of years but I never chose to post. If I went on and said well all you dickheads this board has been around long enough, now I'm going to take it down and destroy delecto while I'm at it, I fully expect the moderator would kick me off and would be completely justified.

Anyway, I wanted to give you dubious dickheads an easy, unchallenged year to build up your cute little treehouse before I cut down the tree.
