Is polite negotiation welcomed by escorts? For example if the posted rate is $300 per hour is it considered rude to offer $250 for 45 minutes.

Yes - most of us consider it very rude to negotiate rates... and a turn - off. For this reason, it is often stated in ads/websites that rates are non-negotiable..... so that it is not brought up :)

If she has an hour and a half hour rate, you can certainly ask her if she provides a 45 minute rate ... and let her determine the cost ;)

I understand would you still consider it rude if I suggested an option that were not listed on the menu rather than a straight request for discount. For example less time.

You feedback is truly appreciated thank you

If you would like a time option that is not listed on the menu - then no harm done :)
I think most of us would agree, there..

I think this is tricky for longer sessions. Say 3 or 4 hours when it is pretty clear that the entire time would not be taken up with sex. I am often uncertain how to appoach this or what is resonable to expect.

Hang up on the hagglers they say !!
It's like I used to tell my customers back in my bartender days when they tried to negotiate prices...

"I am NOT Monty Hall, and this is NOT Let's Make A Deal...."

I find it insulting as hell, and I am not even an SP...

If the SP does not have 45 minutes posted on their site it is rude. Most SPs have rates for 30 mins, 60 mins, or 2 hrs +. I have rarely come across 45 minutes. If it is not posted than as a customer I would not suggest it.

negotiating...Yes, I do that.

I have no problems about questions regarding various timing and rates for sessions.
I try to be competitive, and fair with rates.
I always run a daily special rate too.
I dont wish to put myself into a bracket where only certain people are able to afford meeting me.
I like to be available to a larger market!
I wanna fuck everybody!
wink wink...!

thanx,

There is nothing rude about negociating a deal. It is a very good thing. If a SP thinks its rude then she obviously doesn't understand how things work in the world, especially in this recession. The recession has a way of breaking the so called "good" SP's to start offering deals. I don't know anyone who would pay $$$ for an hour especially with covered action. I have a few regulars who are so much better than most high priced girls and they charge about half the price with twice the pleasure if not more.

To me a high priced SP is a jaded SP.

hmm, Thanks for your input Duberry ;) so informative, :)

Suggesting a new service politely is not offensive, negotiating is :) Telling someone how much they should charge is also offensive. There are girls in all price ranges. There is someone for everyone

I have massage packages which are half the price as full service, so I have my prices set up the way I do, so I end up doing a few full services a week, and 10 or more massages a week

OscarMann, I think the way you are broaching it, not offensive at all. Some girls will, some won't and the ones that get offended over such a minor infraction are silly lol I personally find a 45 minute session awkward, time wise, lol

Would you negotiate the rate with similar professionals like a dentist (they stick something in your mouth) or a lawyer (you get bent over and fucked in the ass)?

what the fuck is going through your head when you compare SLUTS to highly educated professionals such as dentists and lawyers?

dentists, lawyers, doctors = went through rigorous training to earn their degree, their
high salary compensates for highly stressful and demanding work situation

sluts = want a quick and easy way to make money by exploiting men's unrelenting desire to fuck young women. no degree required
um, sluts give it away for free.

May I suggest some kind of counseling to deal with your rage, towards women, because believe it or not prostitutes or service providers which we are so politely called on this board, not sluts by the way ;) are women too.

I love these threads because you can just see who is smart and who is not, and who I would welcome into my home, and who I would not ;)

Hmmm

I live in a business world where clients establish needs and detailed specifications and SPs
quote and compete on providing those requirements.

Now wouldn't that be a novel idea in sexual services.

I've negotiated a better rate with my lawyer and my accountant. Neither has found it offensive. If its for sale or rent then its negotiatable PERIOD. You're welcome to offer and they're welcome to say no.

I agree, that would be wonderful. The biggest problem is that like junkies we are willing to pay whatever it takes to satisfy our desire. SP's are like drug dealers and they know there is always some man in the wings desperate enough to pay whatever they ask. This idea of being insulted by the thought of negotiating is complete bullshit. If this racket were ever legalized and regulated it would be the SP's worst nightmare. They might actually have to lower their prices in order to compete. That's why I like the ones just entering the business. They usually offer more services for less money.

I posted this in another thread a little while back:

Not to mention most of the paid advertisers here either run a business, have a degree, or are working towards one.

Wow.... it amazes me all the venom that is being displayed in this thread. :( I am hoping it is mainly the vocal men who hate women. :)
I hope so too. It's disturbing that all these wackjobs can anonymously vent their issues on the internet and pretend to be normal in person until they get a girl behind closed doors. I used to think PERBerts were all harmless, well-meaning, well-adjusted clients, now I'm starting to think otherwise.
