Damn Ipod wont charge on the USB, checked device manager and its working fine. Recognizes my webcam no problem.

Does this mean I need to get a new one, take it back, or smash the piece of shit? Or buy a docking station for it

Third Ipod!!

Just got my son his third Ipod - the first two, the hard drive went right after the warranty ran out so I just got him a 60gb Ipod video. I'm hoping this will last a little longer.

I have instructions on how to take your Ipod apart (without destroying it) if you like and if you're so inclined! I have heard the battery does go bad on the 4th gen Ipods more often than previous models.
