Asian Fever

Inspired by the Shaw thread, let's talk about Rogers...

I was a prepaid customer for years. They charged $0.25 per minute and I was forced to use an automatic system or deal with rude, under skilled CSRs who seemed to think I was of no importance since I had a prepaid account and was not "under contract". Even though I was spending $$-$$$ on pay per use minutes every month THEY still treated ME like a POS.

Venture to Ontario, where their headquarters is situated. You may meet a lot more Rogers And Bell haters. It was a long time before Telus made an appearance in that province. And there is definitely no Shaw, compare to the other companies they are fairly small potatoes. imo

Hope that helps.

:)

I've been with Rogers for 7 years. No real complaints. I was stupid enough to leave my data roaming on during a trip to Texas this year. I came home to a $1000 data bill. I pleaded ignorance and was fortunate enough to have them reduce it to $500

Hmmmm, I'm not known as the resident shit-disturber (she's retired from Vancouver), but you may have something there...yup, this is a dicey topic! ;)

You ARE lucky. But they know and we know that we are paying for air. That is why they call it "AIRTIME". In essence it is nothing. And essentially free.
