Who cares if she doesn't like to be reviewed, what is the point of this board...

If we listened to all the SP's who don't want to be reviewed it would be crap.

Just my input

If she is a great SP she wouldn't want the free publicity because she has more business than she wants. The free advertising would not add to her income so she doesn't need it. She may be focusing on out of towners rather than local clients. If someone doesn't like to be reviewed clients should respect that. The exception is if she was a rip off/bad experience. If you can't respect her wishes why not just see someone else?

What is the point in asking to not be reviewed.. unless you have something to hide?

If I were a pooner, I'd be wary.
I've seen sps that make it VERY clear that they would not welcome a review. Something to hide? Not at all. A high priced/low volume sp is clearly relying on private referrals and repeat clientele(to me this is a clear bonus). A recommendation on a public message board would only put a damper on her business and leave her with an entirely different client base. I initially came here looking for private sps and knew very well that any referrals would come via PM rather than a publicly posted review.

It can be difficult to find private/exclusive sps. It makes sense that once they've established an exclusive clientele, they'd do what they can to keep their client base at that standard.

Anyone can market their service to the masses .....good reviews/bad reviews/fake reviews/schills/stalkers/etc. I'm thankful for the PM option on this board , but I can see how a higher end sp would rather avoid the rest. What a high volume sp could view as free advertising, a low volume/exclusive sp would strive to avoid.

This board definately serves a purpose, but I wouldn't be "wary" of a sp that states that she'd rather not be reviewed.
