I wonder how many guys saw her and that could have been them. Very scary putting her on my no fly list in 2 years when she gets out. I think she was a backpage girl just kidding.

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Just goes to show that we all, both guys and gals need to be careful.

I had an online buddy years ago back on CanBest, who used to pick up street girls quite a bit. Told me he was literally shaking one day.
He would frequently pick up this one girl on Higgins who worked out of the Mount Royal. One night she's acting a bit weird and ended up pulling a knife on him. He got away unscathed but she scared the crap out of him. He never told anyone until a few months later when he saw her in the paper accused of stabbing someone at a drinking party. That's when he told me his tale.

Reminds me of a story I heard of a streetwalker holding a knife to a guy's genitals while giving a bj and demanding his wallet or else.

This is so very sad. Keith was a long time friend of my family, and he was a warm, upbeat, helpful kind of guy. I remember having pig roasts at his house out of town as a teenager, and my best friend and I sneaking booze from his liquor cabinet, soaking in the hot tub, and camping out in awesome rv on the weekends. Its been years since I've seen him, but just the fact they mentioned his being on assistance, makes this a story about alcoholism, and the destructive effects it had on this man's life, more than it could ever be about the sex trade, IMHO.

I don't recall the article saying he was on assistance. It did say police were called to check on his welfare/ wellbeing, but that would be different than check on his welfare cheque. He was 69 more likely on pension.

It can happen whether you're seeing an SP or a street walker though, you never know is hiding at an incall location and any SP can bring a weapon to your place.

Best thing about this board is knowing who is reliable and knowing who is a drug addict or crazy etc.

That is very true. When I first found about PERB a number of years back, it saved me from a potentially very bad situation in North Vancouver. The SP advertised in the Georgia Strait and I was going to head there, with my little head excited about giant boobies. I decided I would search this new "PERB thing" I had found. Discovered that she like to play "boyfriend in the closet" game. I called her to say I wasn't coming. She tore a strip off me. I hung up and she called me back several times practically begging me to come back and practically offered a freebie. Seemed awfully desperate to get me back. Nope. Thank you Perbites. I believe this SP was arrested shortly after in an identical Lavalife scam.

My condolences to this man's family and friends, BTW. What a terrifying experience it must have been.

Spin.
You are putting personal info about a person on an Escort Forum.
Not good.
You have confused welfare( well being) with welfare ( social assistance)
Not good.
You conclude that alcoholism... Not an SP with knife( or otherwise weapon killed him)
Not good.
Delete you post...or wait for the Mods to.

She posted no personal info. She posted about pig roasts and an RV.

And it doesn't really matter anyway, the guy is already identified because he is dead, everyone knows his name.

Um, you need to calm down, nothing i said was inappropriate. And like i said he was a long time friend of my family's, so my mistake - i confused having read about an attempt to cash a cheque, with all the other talk im hearing through my mother, grandmother, aunts, uncles etc. The only way my post would have been tmi, would be if i were worried about my family perhaps reading this. Utterly refreshing that the assumption be that the sp doesn't read at a grade 6 comprehension level (which is what the Winnipeg sun writes at) and ridiculous that anyone think this wasn't an alcohol influenced event. Clearly the cause of death was at the hands of this woman. All um saying is there's a bigger picture, and patterns of behavior that lead up to something like this. Itd be nice if life were black vs white, good vs evil but since its not - my overall reaction is SADNESS. (and at the moment utter annoyance at some ppls arrogance)
