Importance of condom fit.

Hi All

I just read an interesting study about condoms. “Does it fit okay? Problems with condom use as a function of self reported poor fit”.

In this study they compared different condom problems depending on how the men reported the fit and feel of the condom.

The study reported that men who had ill-fitting condoms had more condom breakages, slippage, reduced sexual pleasure and more difficulty reaching orgasm when compared to men who had a good fitting condom.

The main point of the study is that one size and type of condom does not work for everyone.

I would suggest that people try different types of condom to see which one's provides the best fit for them. It seems that I good fitting condom will provide better pleasure as well as safety.

For condom advise I used to refer people to Carol at rubber rainbow but I regret to tell you that after many years they have closed.

I am almost positive that rubber rainbow moved from Denman street to Main street. I used to be around the corner from them. They moved because they moved to a bigger store. Unless business was really bad on Main, they should still be there.

Yes they moved to Main street. I was surprised when I visited their location a few weeks ago and there was a sign on the door saying they are permanently closed. I don't know the reasons behind there closure.

Its a shame they offered a great service and Carol had so much experience.
